Item type:Publication, Prototypical Card Shuffling Machine Using Unified Convergence Analysis Methods(2025-01-01)This paper presents the design and implementation of an advanced playing card shuffling machine that incorporates various shuffling techniques to scramble cards effectively. Shuffling a deck so that it appears completely random has been a challenge for many years. In the past, various mathematical models and algorithms have been proposed to shuffle a deck of cards in a way that approaches complete randomness. Nevertheless, there has been limited investigation into shuffling machines that utilize these mathematical models. Most existing shuffling machines do not incorporate these complex mathematical concepts into a real-world setting. This study takes a step forward by developing a prototype of a shuffling machine that is rooted in advanced mathematical concepts. Specifically, it uses a probability function based on a unified convergence analysis, which is a mathematical approach that ensures the shuffling process will reach randomness efficiently. The key idea is to translate this mathematical framework into a reliable, functioning machine that can perform complex shuffles quickly and accurately. The goal is to produce a device that follows theoretical principles and works effectively in practical applications. The proposed prototype has been designed and implemented. The experimental results are impressive and demonstrate the randomness and usefulness of such a shuffling machine. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Design and Implementation of a Prototype Card Shuffling Machine Using Unified Convergence Analysis Models(2025-01-01); Nilas, NilamitThis paper presents the design and implementation of an advanced automatic playing card shuffling machine that incorporates various shuffling techniques to effectively scramble cards. In the past, numerous mathematical concepts have been proposed to shuffle a deck of cards in a way that approaches complete randomness. Nevertheless, there has been limited investigation into shuffling machines that utilize these mathematical models. This study concentrates on developing a prototype of a card-shuffling machine that is integrated with a probability function based on the unified convergence analysis. This research transforms the mathematical theory into a practical and functioning shuffler machine as well as micro manipulators for the card input/output system. The proposed prototype has been designed and implemented. The experimental results are impressive and demonstrate the randomness and usefulness of such a shuffling machine.
