Item type:Publication, Simple interface circuit for resistive/capacitive sensors(2013-01-01) ;Tongcharoen, Jakkapun; ; ; This paper presents a method to realize interface circuit for resistive and capacitive sensors. The proposed circuit employs commercially available devices to generate the output signal in form of time period, which is linearly proportional to the both of sensing resistance and capacitance. Circuit configuration is simple and small in size. Experimental results verifying the performances of the proposed circuit are also included. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Front-end interfacing circuit for capacitive sensor(2015-01-01) ;Ota, Akira; ; ; This paper presents an interfacing circuit for capacitive sensor using charge amplifier formed a capacitance-to-voltage converter. The proposed circuit is suitable for the front-end analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and wide variable range of sensing capacitance. The achieved output voltage provides a linear transfer characteristic and fast response. The circuit configuration is implemented using only commercially available devices. The performances of proposed circuit are confirmed by experimental results. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, System development for tube inspection based on eddy current technique(2012-01-01); ; Kaewpoonsuk, AnuchaThis paper presents system development for tube inspection based on eddy current. The proposed system consists of sine wave generator circuit, amplifier circuit I, voltage control current source, filter circuit, detector circuit I, detector circuit II, amplifier circuit II, comparator circuit, display circuit and eddy current probe. The system is based on eddy current inspection technique. The eddy current between eddy current probe and metal tube was measured by the proposed circuit. The measured output voltage is applied to the signal processing circuit for display unit. When the investigated metal tube has no defect, green LED is turn on, otherwise the red LED with buzzer is turn on. © 2012 SICE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, 4-20mA current transceiver(2010-12-01) ;Chaipurimas, Komsan; ; A method for realization of current transceiver is proposed in this paper. The proposed current transceiver can simultaneously transmit and receive the industrial standard current signal 4-20mA. Only one transmission loop or one pair of wire is required for current signal transmission and receive between two stations. The input and output signals are in the voltage form that is suitable and convenient for industrial applications. Realization of the proposed transceiver is based on the use of voltage-to-current converter to transmit and receive a current signal. Simulation results demonstrating the performance of the proposed scheme are agreed with the expected values. The leakage signal between input and output of transceiver in term of crosstalk is about -66.8dB. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, System development for orange surface defect detection using image processing(2015-01-01); ; ;Kaewpoonsuk, AnuchaKamsri, ThawatchaiThis paper presents system development for orange surface defect detection using image processing. The proposed system consists of conveyer belt, Ultraviolet (UV) lamp, CCD Camera, electronic circuits, interface card and computer. K-means clustering and thresholding techniques are used for inspection of surface defect. The image segments are employed to calculate area of surface defect. The experimental results show that the proposed system can be detection of surface defect.
