Item type:Publication, Current-tunable current-mode all-pass section using DDCC(2011-11-03) ;Torteanchai, UsaThis paper presents a new dual input current-mode first-order all-pass filter employing one differential difference current conveyor, one grounded capacitor and three grounded resistors. The use of grounded passive component makes the circuit suitable for integrated circuit implementation. The output terminals also have high impedance level which enables easy cascading in current-mode operation. The performances of the proposed circuit are simulated with PSPICE to confirm the present theory. © 2011 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Fully CMOS programmable voltage adder/subtractor(2011-08-25)This paper presents a new programmable voltage adder/subtractor circuit. The proposed circuit is based on differential difference current conveyors and MOS switches. The adder/subtractor yields advantages over previous adders and subtractors in view of the less active components, low power consumption and its function to be programmable by digital codes which is suitable for integrated circuit implementation. Simulation results using PSPICE program are also obtained. From simulation results, it finds that the operation range of the proposed adder/subtractor is 1.5V with a supply voltage of 2V and the operation frequency is up to 100MHz. © 2011 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Current-mode MISO filter using CCCDTAs and grounded capacitors(2015-07-01); ;Jantakun, Adirek; This paper presents the current-mode multi-input single-output (MISO) biquadratic filter using current-controlled current differencing tranconductance amplifier (CCCDTA) as an active building block. The proposed circuit comprises three CCCDTAs and two grounded capacitors performing completely standard functions: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, bandreject and all-pass functions and does not require double input current signals as well as inverting input currents. The pole frequency and quality factor of the proposed circuit can be adjusted electronically/independently via dc bias currents. In addition, the filter circuit has low-input and high-output impedance which facilitates easy connecting for current-mode circuit. The proposed circuit uses all grounded capacitors which is very suitable to further develop into an integrated circuit and without requiring any matching condition. Moreover, the active and passive sensitivities are low. The PSPICE simulation results are included to show the workability of the proposed circuit. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Electronically tunable multiphase sinusoidal oscillator using translinear current conveyors(2010-11-01); ;Chanwutitum, JirasakDejhan, KobchaiA new electronically tunable current-mode multiphase sinusoidal oscillator based on translinear current conveyors is presented. The proposed oscillator circuit, which employs only one translinear current conveyor and one grounded capacitor for each phase, can generate arbitrary N output current equal-amplitude signals that are equally spaced in phase (N being even or odd), all at high output impedance terminals. The frequency of oscillation and the condition of oscillation can be controlled electronically and independently through the bias current of the translinear current conveyor. The proposed structure also has simple circuitry, low-component count, and is highly suitable for integrated circuit implementation. The theoretical results were verified by PSPICE simulation. In addition, the modification of the N sinusoidal oscillators to construct a programmable multiphase oscillator is also discussed. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High frequency and high precision CMOS half-wave rectifier(2010-10-01); ;Knobnob, BoonyingDejhan, KobchaiIn this paper, a new high frequency and high precision half-wave rectifier circuit which is very suitable for CMOS technology implementation is presented. The system comprises a voltage to current converter, a dual output precision current-mode half-wave rectifier, and two current to voltage converters. An input voltage signal is converted into a current signal by using a current conveyor and a MOS resistor. The current signal is rectified using a dual output class-AB precision rectifier cell and then converted into two output voltages by using grounded MOS resistors. This class-AB current-mode precision rectifier is employed for providing high frequency performance. Simulated rectifier results based-on a 0.5 μm CMOS technology with ±1.2 V supply voltage demonstrates very high operating frequency, very precise rectification and good temperature stability. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2010. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2010. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Single MCCCCTA-based mixed-mode third-order quadrature oscillator(2012-11-22); Chanwutitum, JirasakThis paper presents a new current-controlled mixed-mode third-order quadrature oscillator. The proposed structure employs one modified current-controlled current conveyor transconductance amplifier (MCCCCTA) and three grounded capacitors that can generate two quadrature voltage outputs and four quadrature current outputs. The use of grounded capacitor makes the proposed structure more suitable for integrated circuit implementation. The condition of oscillation and the frequency of oscillation can be controlled orthogonally and electronically by adjusting the biasing currents of the MCCCCTA. Simulation results verifying the theoretical analysis are also included. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Tunable quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using single-ended OTAs(2012-10-17); Junnapiya, SomyotThis paper presents a new electronically tunable voltage-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator employing four single-ended operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and two grounded capacitors. In general, the single-ended OTA configuration is simpler than the multiple-output OTA counterpart and the requirement of grounded capacitors is preferable for an integrated circuit fabrication process. Therefore, the proposed circuit provides a simple circuitry by using only single-ended OTA and highly suitable for integrated circuit (IC) implementation by using grounded capacitors. The condition of oscillation and the frequency of oscillation of the circuit can be set orthogonally. The circuit also offers an electronic control of the frequency of oscillation through adjusting the bias currents of OTAs. The theoretical results are verified by PSPICE simulators. From simulation results, it can be expressed that the proposed circuit agrees well with theory. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, DDTA and DDCCTA: New active elements for analog signal processing(2012-12-01)This paper presents new active elements, namely the differential difference transconductance amplifier (DDTA) and differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifier (DDCCTA). Unlike the previously reported papers, the active elements in this paper can be implemented by using either commercially available integrated circuits (ICs) (i.e. AD 844, LM 13600) or IC techniques (i.e. CMOS or bipolar technologies). By using these elements-based circuits, achieved circuits can be implemented both as discrete and IC forms. The workability of the proposed circuits is confirmed by PSPICE simulators. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The proposed circuit provides simultaneously realize voltage-mode low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and allpass filter responses. The natural frequency and the quality factor can be set orthogonally. Also the natural frequency can be electronically controlled. No component-matching conditions and no inverting-type input signals are required for realizing all the filter responses. The active and passive sensitivities are low. PSPICE simulation results are given to confirm the presented theory. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
