Item type:Publication, Set-membership adaptive reduced-rank affine projection algorithm(2019-03-01) ;Sitjongsataporn, SuchadaSet-membership filtering approach with the method of adaptive reduced-rank affine projection algorithm is presented. The distance between the present tap-weight vector and the update is used to accelerate the convergence and decreasing the update rates of proposed algorithm. For the error upper bound constraint, the adaptive averaging threshold parameter is introduced using the estimated auto-correlation between present and previous estimated error vector for controlling the update step-size. Simulation results of proposed algorithm verify the good performance concerning to the amount of updates and convergence rate compared with existing algorithm. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The Dissipation Factor (tan δ) Monitoring of A Stator Winding Insulation of A Synchronous Machine(2018-11-14) ;Phloymuk, N. ;Nimsanong, P. ;Phumipunepon, N. ;Potivejkul, S.the aim of this paper is to describe the dielectric loss tangent (tan δ) behaviors of the stator winding insulation of the 14.5 MVA 11kV synchronous machine from 2014-2017. This machine is still operated up to now. The tan δ values at different test voltages was measured and recorded. It was found that the sharp increase in tan δ values gave the sign of a significant degree of contamination and damage on the insulation surface which was proved by inspection. From the investigation the tan δ measurements is one of the effective ways to monitor and evaluate the insulation conditions of the stator insulation. The analysis and discussion of the existed problem of the synchronous machine are also included in this paper. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Spline adaptive filtering based on normalised orthogonal gradient adaptive algorithm(2019-07-01) ;Sitjongsataporn, SuchadaThis paper proposes a normalised orthogonal gradient adaptive algorithm based on spline adaptive filtering. According to improve the convergence characteristics, the orthogonal gradient adaptive algorithm has been proposed using the orthogonal projection along with the filtered gradient adaptive algorithm. Simulation results demonstrates that the proposed algorithm exhibits more robust performance compared with the conventional spline adaptive filtering algorithms. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Reduced complexity widely-linear adaptive forgetting-factor inverse square-root RLS algorithm(2018-07-02) ;Sitjongsataporn, SuchadaA reduced complexity inverse square-root recursive least squares algorithm based on widely-linear mechanism is introduced by adaptive forgetting-factor algorithm. The proposed reduced complexity widely-linear approaches based on inverse square-root recursive least squares algorithm is presented for a relation between widely-linear and reduced complexity scheme. By means of mean square deviation approach, an optimal forgetting-factor scheme is proposed in terms of optimal gain sequence. Adaptive forgetting-factor inverse square-root recursive least squares algorithm is used with regard to an optimal forgetting-factor algorithm. Results of simulation depict that the performance of proposed algorithm is shown similar to widely-linear scheme comparison with the existing algorithm. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Performance Evaluation of Heterogeneous Cluster for Satellite Data Processing(2019-12-01) ;Prongnuch, Sethakarn ;Sitjongsataporn, SuchadaThis paper presents the performance evaluation of heterogeneous cluster for satellite data processing. The proposed system consists of a master and eight slaves of the heterogeneous system connected to a start-network switch. The metric performance is used for satellite data processing algorithm. For the performance evaluation, the overall processing time is 102.85 seconds. Additionally, comparisons with the related work show better than 1.6 times of processing time compared with the previous work. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Hammerstein Spline Adaptive Filtering based on Normalised Least Mean Square Algorithm(2019-12-01) ;Prongnuch, Sethakarn ;Sitjongsataporn, SuchadaThis paper proposes a normalised least mean square algorithm based on Hammerstein spline adaptive filtering. A nonlinear Hammerstein adaptive filters consists of memory-less function modified during learning and the spline control point is automatically controlled by gradient-based method. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm exhibits more robust performance compared with the conventional spline adaptive filtering algorithms. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, PID design optimization using flower pollination algorithm for a buck converter(2017-07-01); Sirapatcharangkul, JakkrawutThis paper presents the development of PID design optimization using Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) and Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA). The optimal PID coefficients are repeatedly searched for using in a buck converter (step-down converter) control process. The system including the PID controller and the conventional buck converter are modelled and implemented in Matlab/Simulink. Simulation results, comparing in terms of searching time and solution quality, reveal that FPA performs better. Additionally, we extend the capability FPA by adding hierarchical search, called HFPA. The quality of the results can be improved in the same searching time. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, IoT-based Versatile Platform for Precision Farming(2018-12-24); This paper presents the use of IoT (Internet of Things) in agriculture such as smart or precision farming. The versatile controller is developed to monitor and control temperature and relative humidity in different ways to serve different types of use. Control methods including timer, hysteresis control, condition control, can be arranged in different sequences and periods of time. Eight multifunction output ports are available for actuators or loads. Results from real implementation are shown. Temperature and humidity in a greenhouse can be controlled in predefined ranges to suit with planting processes. Data on the cloud can be monitored in real-Time on PC or mobile application.
