Item type:Publication, SOLITON SPIN in AN ADD-DROP OPTICAL FILTER for LONG DISTANCE SPIN TRANSPORT(2012-03-01) ;Teeka, C. ;Aziz, M. S.; ; Ali, J.A new concept of an optical spin generation using bright and dark soliton conversion behaviors within a modified optical add-drop filters known as a PANDA ring resonator is proposed. The orthogonal solitons can be formed randomly within the system and detected simultaneously at the output ports. Under the resonant condition, the orthogonal solitons corresponding to the left-hand and right-hand solitons (photons) can be generated. Whenever a photon is absorbed by an object, an angular momentum of either + ℏ or - ℏ is imparted to the object, in which two possible spin states known as soliton spins are exhibited. Many soliton spins, i.e., many particles, dynamic spin and long distance spin transport using the proposed design are also discussed. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Nano radio and RoF applications(2012-01-01); ;Afroozeh, A. ;Ali, J.Yupapin, P. P.A new design of THz frequency carrier generation for radio frequency identification (RFID) application is proposed. The dense wavelength division multiplexing can be generated and obtained by using a Gaussian or soliton pulses propagating within a modified add-drop filter known as a PANDA ring resonator. The broad bandwidth of THz signals can be obtained and available for useful applications, in which the use of the generated THz pulses for RFID application, for instance, Ad-Hoc network using RFID. Results obtained have shown that the increasing in channel capacity can be obtained and useful for the large demand of RFID applications. © 2010 Published by Elsevier Ltd. © 2010 Published by Elsevier Ltd. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Multitweezers generation using dark soliton pulses and applications(2011-08-01) ;Jukgoljun, B.; ;Jalil, M. A. ;Yupapin, P. P.Ali, J.Multi-dark soliton pulses have been successfully generated by using forward and backward pumping of the S-band erbium doped fiber in the fiber optic loop, where the Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) is a nonlinear interaction between pump fields with Stokes field through acoustic wave. Results obtained have shown that the dark soliton trains can be generated and configured as the multi-optical tweezers. The advantage is that the generated tweezers are in the form of dynamic tweezers, where they can transmit/transport via the soliton communication link. The single dark soliton is also experimentally generated by using the different fiber optic scheme. We have also theoretically shown that the dynamic tweezers can be controlled and tuned, which is available for trapping and transportation in the communication link via a wavelength router. The quantum states of the transported atoms/molecules by the dynamic tweezers can be performed by using the quantum processing unit incorporating in the system. © 2010 Elsevier GmbH.
