Item type:Publication, Adaptive algorithm in space division multiple access with n users and m antenna elements(2004-12-01)The increasing number of wireless broadband access users in local and wide area networks is the principal expression of the need for flexible and omnipresent wireless connectivity. In order to satisfy users' requirements in the presence of the wireless medium, sophisticated multiple access, multiple elemental antenna and adaptation techniques are required. The use of multiple elemental antenna arrays at the base station allows intra cell channel reused by multiple spatially separable users through Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA). In this paper, I investigate the implement of three elemental antenna arrays and propose an adaptive algorithm to allocate channels to four users based on the number of users and elements of antenna, while appropriately adjusting to n users and m elemental antenna arrays. Item type:Publication, Transequatorial radio propagation monitoring(2005-12-01); According to error of satellite signals traveling through the ionosphere, it can be Impractical and receiver performance can be severely degraded. At times of high sunspot number, Transequatorial Propagation on Ionospheric scintillations are most likely to occur during solar maximum, particularly affecting equatorial and auroral regions. Although isolated efforts have been reported, systematic analyses of the effects on positioning systems have not been performed. Auroral disturbances affecting North- South gradients can lead to effects at mid-latitudes. This paper presents initial monitoring results of a study on transequatorial radio propagation. A state-of-the-art SAO explorer, which extracts scintillation parameters from radio frequencies measurements, is being used. © 2005 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, GPS satellite visibility viewed by vehicles in Bangkok, Thailand(2007-12-01)The novel scheme is proposed and demonstrated where satellite visibility viewed from running vehicle is economically and effectively evaluated with such low cost GPS receivers like equipped in automobiles. The preliminary experiment articulated even economical L1 C/A 1575.42MHz GPS receivers can create enough precise database of ground feature blockage, compared to fisheye photograph method, if only two statistical parameters that this research proposes are adequately set.
