Abstract
This paper proposes a new technique for an inspection process of smart manufacturing system. In the proposed technique, smart 'on the fly' vision system is applied to detect the object which does not need to stop the moving object; this helps the system to save more energy and inspection time in manufacturing process. The proposed technique adopts the optical flow to find the reference point and specify the interesting ROI. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed system.
