Abstract
Organic thin film photovoltaics on polyethylene tereohthalate (PET) plastic substrate have been fabricated from copper-phthalocyanine (CuPc) prepared by electron beam evaporation technique. The orientation of CuPc crystal exhibited (200) plane with alpha-phase monoclinic structure. The optical absorption spectra of CuPc layer, is nearly complementary the main maxim of CuPc layer is centered at 615 and 690 nm, the CuPc layers contribute to the photogeneration of carriers in the device. ©2010 IEEE.
