Abstract
This paper presents a new floating inductance simulator using only one operational transconductance amplifier (OTA), one translinear current conveyor with controlled current gain and one grounded capacitor. Unlike the previously reported floating inductance simulator, the proposed circuit can realize a positive floating inductance simulator and a negative floating inductance simulator without changing the circuit topology. The simulated inductance values can also be controlled by adjusting the bias current. The characteristics of the proposed circuit are simulated to confirm the presented theory. © 2011 IEEE.
