Abstract
A single power supply may not be sufficient for certain applications. Therefore, increasing the power output of power supplies can be achieved by connecting them in series or parallel configurations to provide the required power to the load. This paper presents a method for increasing power capacity by paralleling two or more power supplies to increase the current output of a single power supply. A half-bridge topology structure is used, with each module output voltage can adjustable from <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$0-150 \mathrm{V}$</tex> and current <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$0-5 \mathrm{A}$</tex>, maximum power output 750 W. Maximum load regulation <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">${0.8\%}$</tex> and efficiency 89 % can be achieved. This system can balance output currents between the master and slave within 2.3 seconds and error output current is +0.11 A.
