Abstract

In this paper, the control of the output voltage in a PWM inverter is presented. The single-phase PWM inverter is controlled by using a sinusoidal-pulse width modulation (SPWM) technique, its feedback is controlled with a Phase lock loop (PLL) compensator. The proposed intention is improved output voltage and decreased total harmonic distortion (THD) of the inverter, based on Phase-lock technique and detected phase error of output voltage and reference voltage. Moreover, this method can be applied to greater output of the PWM inverter and better reliability and high-accuracy in order to control methods of PLL. © 2011 SICE.
