Abstract
A switched-beam antenna, by switching feed probes of patch antennas and phase shifters in a phased array of switched-beam elements, is presented. A single stub was employed to obtain impedance matching when all elements exist. Eight patterns are illustrated that are essential to control local oscillator signals in a circular antenna mixer array. © 2012 IEEE.
