Abstract

This paper presents the design of heat transfer on integrated heatsink for 6000 lm worklamp. The integrated driver using DC-DC Single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) converts 9 V - 36 V to 15 V 2A for 2 sets attaches to the heatsink as the housing of the lamp. Each set of drivers consumes 30 watt for 3000 lm fitted with a very compact sizing and complied with IP 67 requirements. The high performance SEPIC converter is proposed and achieved at 83.79% concerned with the primary source of the heat management train. The proposed design model shows a heat management model to maintain a long run operating temperature at 60 °C ambient temperature. The EMC issue based on the radiated emission was proved to comply with international standards. This work can be applied in building, field-yard, security area and automotive for both local and worldwide market.
