Abstract
Limiting the time require to turn on the high voltage supply for mosquito electric shock in the mosquito trap is studied in this work. Form the problem of turning on the mosquito trap that must be turned on all the time throughout the system, in this title, the design system allows the high-voltage supply to be switched on only when a mosquito or an insect that is assumed to be mosquito flies into the trap. We use a usual high sensitivity condenser microphone to pick up the analog sound of a mosquito's flapping wing. The audio signal is FFT encoded by microcontroller to allow the system to decide whether that flapping sound is a local mosquito. The microcontroller digital output signal is sent to control the power on of the high voltage to trap the get rid of such mosquito. With a flying speed of a mosquito that can fly from 1.6 to 2.4 km/hr., the flapping wing sound convert time of FFT Fundamental and first Hamonic detection by ESP32 CPU and the digital port trigger output signal to power on the high voltage section, result is a mosquito, the steady high voltage power supply control signal is not over than 1 second. During the CPU process time, mosquito can fly at up to 1 mm. The operation of this system results in a lower power consumption cost that the mosquito trap must use. Based on the calculation of the mosquito trap using the principle in this title is 99% lower power consumption than the system that does not use.
