Abstract
In this paper, the circuit realization of a multiphase sinusoidal oscillator (MSO) employing current differencing buffered amplifiers (CDBAs) as active components is proposed. The proposed MSO circuit, which is composed of n cascaded CDBA-based lossy integrators and a CDBA-based inverter, can generate n sinusoidal output voltages with phase difference of 180°/n. The oscillation frequency can be wide range adjusted, approximately from 200 Hz to 2 MHz. by tuning the value of passive elements. Simulation results obtained using the AD844 ICs are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. © 2006 ICASE.
