Item type:Publication, Electronically tunable phase shifter using CDTAs(2009-12-01) ;Marungreang, Nattaphon ;Tanjaroen, Wason; The realization of an electronically tunable phase shifter using current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) as active components is presented. The proposed filter employs only two CDTAs and one virtually grounded capacitor, which its phase shift can be electronically adjusted by varying the bias current of the CDTA. The circuit also exhibits high-output impedance, which is easy cascading in the current-mode operation. As application example, the current-mode biquad filter based on the proposed CDTA-based phase shifter circuit is also presented. PSPICE simulation results of the proposed circuit and its application are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Automated Elderly-Tracking Robot Prototype Using an AI-Based Vision Camera(2026-01-01) ;Pimpol, Jirapun ;Mongkolwai, Pratya; This paper presents the design and implementation of an automated elderly-tracking robot prototype that integrates an AI-based HuskyLens vision sensor with ultrasonic sensors for target detection, tracking, and obstacle avoidance. Sensor data are processed by an Arduino UNO microcontroller, which controls TorqueNADO motors to achieve autonomous navigation and real-time motion control. The system also incorporates an ESP32-CAM module to provide live video streaming of the elderly user via the Blynk smartphone application, enabling remote monitoring over the Internet. In addition, the prototype supports a maximum payload of 3 kg for carrying essential lightweight items for elderly users. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed robot meets the intended design objectives and validates the practical feasibility of the system. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, New resistor-less tunable floating and grounded FDNR simulators(2023-01-01) ;Bhardwaj, Kapil ;Srivastava, MayankThis article proposes new electronically tunable simulation configurations of synthetic grounded and floating frequency-dependent negative resistances (FDNRs) without using any resistances. The presented simulators have been realised by using two voltage differencing transconductance amplifiers (VDTAs) along with two capacitances. As per the knowledge of the authors, the depicted VDTA-based simulator circuits are the most compact configurations as compared to any other VDTA-based pure FDNR simulator reported so far. The circuits possess the feature of electronic tunability which means that the realised FDNR value can be controlled by using bias currents of employed VDTAs. Moreover, the reported structures simulate ideal FDNR behaviour without any requirement of fulfiling the parameter-related conditions. An analysis has been presented and discussed to find the behaviour of the presented circuits under non-ideal effects. The operation of the simulated FDNRs has been checked by constructing higher-order CDR filters. The working of the designed circuits has been shown through the simulation results generated using PSPICE with 0.18 um CMOS technology. Finally, the experimental results using commercial IC have been discussed. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Minimum Component Truly Mixed Mode First Order Universal Filter Employing EXCCTA(2023-01-01) ;Perumal, Srideviponmalar ;Faseehuddin, Mohammad ;Kukker, Amit ;Shireen, SadiaA mixed mode first order universal filter (FO-UF) has been proposed in this study. One Extra X Current Conveyor Transconductance Amplifier (EXCCTA), one capacitor and two resistors are used to design the filter. The main attributes of the filter include (i) electronic tunability (ii) ability to work in all four modes of operation (iii) cascadability (iv) availability of low pass (LP), high pass (HP) and all pass (AP) responses simultaneously. By incorporating the filter to design the second order current mode and trans-admittance mode filters, the filter's practicability is investigated. To determine how component spread and frequency-dependent current and voltage transfer gains affect the filter's operation, non-ideal analysis is conducted. The layout of the EXCCTA occupies an area of 51.47*23.33μm2 and it is designed and validated using 180nm GPDK in Cadence software. The FO-UF functions at ±1.25V supply at a frequency of 16.23MHz. Experimental analysis using off the shelf integrated circuits (ICs), the AD844 and CA3080 is also conducted to validate the proposed design. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Voltage differencing transconductance amplifier-based floating simulators with a single grounded capacitor(2014-01-01); Unhavanich, SumaleeTwo simple configurations for simulating the resistorless floating inductor and capacitor using voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA) as a novel active element have been presented in this paper. The proposed floating simulated inductance circuit uses only one VDTA and one grounded capacitor, whereas the proposed floating simulated capacitance circuit uses two VDTAs and one grounded capacitor. The equivalent values of the realized simulators can be tuned electronically through the transconductance parameter of the VDTA. Both of the circuits also do not require any realization conditions. The proposed circuits together with their applications are demonstrated using PSPICE simulation with 0.35 μm TSMC CMOS technology. Item type:Publication, Compact VDTA-based current-mode electronically tunable universal filters using grounded capacitors(2014-01-01) ;Satansup, JetsdapornThis paper presents a compact current-mode three-input single-output (TISO) type universal filter. Only one voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA) and two grounded capacitors are employed in the proposed filter. The circuit can realize lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass biquadratic filter outputs by connecting the appropriate inputs, and offers electronic control of the natural angular frequency (ω<inf>0</inf>) and quality factor (Q) by means of adjusting the transconductance gain of the VDTA. In addition, by slight modification of the proposed scheme, another more useful TISO construction with orthogonal ω<inf>0</inf>-Q tuning has been obtained. Both the discussed universal filters have been shown to have low incremental active and passive sensitivities. To demonstrate the performances of the filters and verify the theoretical analysis, computer simulations are accomplished with the PSPICE program. © 2014 Elsevier Ltd. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, VDIBA-based sinusoidal quadrature oscillator(2017-01-01) ;Channumsin, OrapinAn electronically tunable voltage-mode sinusoidal quadrature oscillator circuit, which is based on using the recently introduced active building block, namely voltage differencing inverting voltage buffered amplifier (VDIBA) has been presented. The presented quadrature oscillator uses two VDIBAs, one electronic grounded resistor, and two grounded passive capacitors, suitable for MOS-C realization. The circuit performs an single-element-controlled oscillator and provides the advantage features of independent electronic control of oscillation condition and oscillation frequency. The workability of the proposed circuit has been verified using PSPICE simulations based on VDIBA implemented in TSMC 0.25-µm CMOS technology, and the simulated results demonstrate a sufficient agreement with the theoretical conclusions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, CDTA-based current limiters and applications(2008-12-01); In this paper, a synthesis of analog current limiter (CL) building blocks based on a current differencing transconductance amplifier (CDTA) is proposed. The breakpoint and the slope of the resulting transfer characteristic obtained from the proposed CDTA-based CLs are electronically programmable through the external bias currents. To demonstrate versatility of the proposed electronically tunable CLs, some nonlinear applications to programmable current- mode precision full-wave rectifier and piecewise-linear function approximation generators are also presented. SPICE simulations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed circuits. © 2008 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Dual-mode sinusoidal quadrature oscillator with single CCCTA and grounded capacitors(2016-09-01)In this work, a sinusoidal quadrature oscillator which simultaneously generates voltage and current signal outputs is proposed. It contains only a single current-controlled conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCCTA) and two grounded capacitors. The proposed oscillator has the advantage features of resistorless structure realization, electronic frequency control, availability of two explicit voltage and current quadrature outputs, and low sensitivity figure. Moreover, the parasitic elements existing at the CCCTA terminals are taken into account. The performance of the proposed oscillator circuit was verified using PSPICE simulation with acceptable results. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Single-input three-output current-mode multifunction filter using single CCCTA(2017-11-03) ;Budboonchu, JakrawatThis work presents the circuit configuration for realizing a canonical current-mode multifunction biquad filter with single input and three outputs (SITO) is introduced. The presented filter uses a single current-controlled conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCCTA) and only two grounded capacitors, without using external passive resistors. It is capable of generating the three standard biquadratic filtering functions, i.e. lowpass, bandpass and highpass current responses simultaneously, without changing circuit configuration. The proposed filter can also be tuned electronically by external bias currents of the CCCTA. The circuit is analyzed for the non-idealities of the used CCCTA and possesses attractive low sensitivity performance. PSPICE simulation results are found to be in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.
