Abstract
This paper presents a new versatile precision rectifier employing a current conveyor, current mirrors and diodes that performs as a positive half-wave, a negative half-wave, a positive full-wave and a negative full-wave rectifications into a single topology. The current-mode is employed for providing the high-precision capability of the circuit. The proposed configuration is very suitable for integrated circuit implementation in CMOS technology. The circuit exhibits a precise rectifier and good temperature stability. PSPICE simulation results using 0.5μm CMOS process demonstrate the performance of the proposed rectifier. © 2011 IEEE.
