Abstract
This paper presents system development for tube inspection based on eddy current. The proposed system consists of sine wave generator circuit, amplifier circuit I, voltage control current source, filter circuit, detector circuit I, detector circuit II, amplifier circuit II, comparator circuit, display circuit and eddy current probe. The system is based on eddy current inspection technique. The eddy current between eddy current probe and metal tube was measured by the proposed circuit. The measured output voltage is applied to the signal processing circuit for display unit. When the investigated metal tube has no defect, green LED is turn on, otherwise the red LED with buzzer is turn on. © 2012 SICE.
