Abstract
This paper presents a new electronically tunable voltage-mode universal biquadratic filter with one input and five outputs employing five operational transconductance amplifiers, two grounded capacitors and one resistor. The filter can offer voltage-mode low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and all-pass filter responses from the same circuit. The properties of the circuit such as no inverting-type input signal requirements, high-input impedance, orthogonal- and electronic-control of the natural frequency and the quality factor, are also possessed. Moreover, the active and passive sensitivities of the filter are low. PSPICE simulation results are provided to demonstrate the theoretical analysis. © 2012 IEEE.
