Abstract
The implementation of analog circuit called the first order allpass filter (APF) utilizing a versatile active element namely voltage differencing current conveyor (VDCC) is presented. The proposed APF circuit has input and output as voltage signal. The presented allpass filter employs a VDCC, one grounded capacitor and two resistors. The phase angle of output signal is electronically adjusted that is attractive for microcontroller controllability. During controlling the phase response of the output signal, the matching condition of two or three parameters is not required. The VDCC used in this design is implemented from commercially available IC. The oscillator which contains the voltage quadrature sinusoidal signal constructed from the proposed allpass filter and integrator is designed as application. The proposed APF and the sinusoidal oscillator circuit are verified via Pspice simulation and experiment.
