This paper presents a design and implementation of biquad digital filter based on poles-zeros placement on a unit circle of z-plane. The proposed digital filter can be given three frequency-responses as lowpass filter (LPF), highpass filter (HPF) and bandpass filter (BPF) at the same time. In the design process the Matlab program was used, for real world implementation by using TMS320C31 DSP board. The experimental results shown by the dynamic signal analyzer to indicate that the obtained frequency responses give the same results as design specifications.

This paper presents theoretical investigations of the characteristics such as radiation pattern, half-power beamwidth, directivity, front-to-back ratio and polarization of an inclined slot on spherical surface. The total fields inside the cavity are formulated by means of the combination of TE and TM modes. The unknown coefficients of the fields are determined by imposing the boundary conditions. The voltage distribution along the slot is reasonably assumed to be the sinusoidal functions. The numerical results of radiation characteristics for various radii of the spherical surface are illustrated. The comparisons between horizontal slot and inclined slot are reported. The result of the analysis shows that this technique is very useful for the design of spherical slot array antenna of any orientation.

This paper presents a control method for single-phase and three-phase AC voltage supply by mean of ICBRM variable energy control technique which provides suitable power supply feeding to load requirements, and also, improve the feeding efficiency resulting in increased energy saving. The Integral Cycle Binary Rate Modulation (ICBRM) signals are integral cycle compositions of 8-bit binary rate multiplier (BRM) and 50 Hz, three-phase AC voltage signals which are divided into 8 parts per cycle, so that 2040 patterns are provided for the single-phase and three-phase feeding applications. Experimental results shows that such methods can be properly implemented for lighting bulbs and three-phase induction motor with low energy loss. This mean that the technique provides high efficiency performance and conducts energy saving.

A novel circuit configuration for the realization of the single-input and three-output (SITO) current-mode biquadratic filters employing only three multiple-output operational mirrored amplifiers (OMAs) is presented. The proposed circuit can simultaneously realize lowpass, bandpass and highpass filter functions at three high-impedance outputs without changing the circuit configuration and elements. Moreover, the resultant current-mode filter provides low passive and active sensitivities, uses of only grounded passive elements and can be orthogonal tuned of the parameters at and Q-factor.
