Every year, tons of events are held. One essential problem of each event is a check-in process. The check-in process wastes plenty of time because each check-in unit is able to check only single participant at a time. Diverse approaches using proximity-based methods have been developed to lessen the check-in processing time. To improve the check-in processing time, these methods are surveyed in this paper. The survey has found that most proximity-based schemes still verify attendees in the same manner but consume lesser time. In addition to the survey, a solution that offers a check-in system that is capable of checking in multiple attendees at a time is proposed. The proposed solution employs beacon technology which is already installed on most mobile devices to provide a unique electronic ticket for each device. With this presented solution, each participant already having the unique electronic ticket on his/her device registered is automatically checked in when walking into an event venue. This significantly helps reduce time consumed in the check-in process.

To minimize unexpected disruptions resulting from air supply problems in manufacturing production, a continuous monitoring of air pressures is crucial for predicting and preventing significant issues that may arise. This paper proposes a technique to build a real-time dashboard monitoring and alerting system for improving an availability of existing compressed air supply in a rubber compound manufacturer in Thailand. Flow and pressure transmitters as well as motorized ball valves are installed in the ma-jor supply lines of air piping system. In addition, a 3-phase power and energy meter is also installed to measure key electrical parameters of two main air compressors. The proposed technique is based on the use of cost-effective Node-RED web application not only to monitor volumetric flow rate, air pressure values, valve statuses, input/output module statuses, and energy-related parameters on the created dashboard in real time but also to alert plant personnel to pressure readings that fall outside an acceptable range via the LINE Notify application. There are three different notification patterns depending on how long is the pressure reading value out of the acceptable range. Moreover, the on/off status of all ball valves can also be remotely set on the dashboard subpages. Experimental results verify that the improved system can be utilized to assist plant personnel in trou-bleshooting and solving the problems with compressed air supply.

In Asia countries, a family usually encourages their children to acquire a better education in a prestige university even though it is far from their hometown. The distance can affect to family relationship for this opportunity in life. A social media becomes one of the communication channels which usually insufficient to maintain proper communication and relationships due to the downside of synchronous communication. KUMAMI, a multi-platform web application, is developed by using an asynchronous communication. A solution to provides a better experience while communicating among family members with familiar features, members status, family notes. This method reduces expectation of an immediate response in the family as ordinary social media platforms.

This study aimed to: 1) construct and find the efficiency of web application of knowledge management in broiler production and 2) test and find the learning achievement after using the Web application. The research instruments in this study were: 1) an assessment form for the efficiency of the web application of knowledge management in broiler production and the web application was assessed by 7 specialists and 2) learning achievement test in the production of commercial broilers was used by 100 students in the program of higher vocational certificate at 4 Colleges of Agriculture and Technology in Thailand. The data were analyzed by using the mean, standard deviation, and independent sample t-test. The results of the study revealed that the efficiency of web application has a high level. The pretest-posttest control group design was used in the comparison of control groups (45 students who did not use the web application) and experimental group (55 students who use the web application). The results found that the experimental group had mean score higher than the control group significantly at the level of 0.05.

This research proposes the smart way to solve the common problem of the conventional door-locking system. The important problems of the ordinary door-locking systems are key lost, forgetting to lock the system and cannot check the lock status from remote. To solve these problems, we proposed a method to lock-unlock the system which utilizes the web application and passcode alongside the usual method of using the ordinary keys. The proposed system can remotely lock, remotely unlock, remotely check door state, remotely check door locking state, send the email to the owner in case of someone knocking on the door and generate the temporary passcode to use in specific date and time.

This paper presents a model of Traffic Forecasting and Navigation Assistance System via Web Application which provides guidance information to drivers for the efficient route planning. Traffic Forecasting and Navigation Assistance System (TFNAS) consists of survey car with GPS module which has rolls of reading traffic information and sending the information to TFNAS Center via internet. TFNAS Center is the center of GPS database and traffic information processing system. It collects GPS information real-time, calculates the traffic density and sends the guidance information of the most effective route which has a least time of arrival to Front-end Devices, Smart Phone PDA Laptop, via Web Brower. © ICROS.
