Item type:Publication, Prototype Modeling of Bed for Bedridden Patients(2019-01-10) ;Bunkum, Manao ;Reanaree, Parkbhum ;Wanluk, NutthananOne of the most common health risks for bedridden patient is a pressure sore or decubitus ulcers. Pressure sore developed in people who are not able to move or lying in the same position for a long period of time. To solve this problem, a caregiver must change the patient's position every two hours if possible. In addition, the caregiver already has many kinds of care work to assist the patient such as changing clothes, administering medicine, daily health checking etc. This paper presented a design model of the bed used for bedridden patients, including paralysis, individuals with impaired mobility, and the elderly. The bed consists of an automatic bed lift control system and a patient monitoring system. The bed can change the patient's position in left or right tilt by lifting the left or right side of the bed up automatically. The system came with a graphic user interface to communicate with the caregiver or physician. The patient monitoring system including, the heart rate monitor, the body temperature monitor and the blood pressure monitor which are then sent to a home or hospital server. All data can then be remotely monitored by caretaker or physician. The proposed of the bed is designed to better assist the daily life of bedridden patients and caregivers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Exoskeleton Suit Supports the Movement(2019-01-10) ;Reanaree, ParkbhumThailand is entering into aging society. Paralysis occurs commonly in this group of people. This is a disease that affects the nervous system, including muscular weakness or Amyo-trophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Patients may not be able to walk or use their lower part of the body. Hence, physical activity is fundamental to human life, if the elders are not able to walk or use some of their body part, their quality of life will be reduce. For this reason, research and development of an equipment to assist physiotherapy rehabilitation or supports the movement of patients has been made. The focus has been drawn to standing and walking, which will result in a better functioning of the patient's body. This lead to the creation of the prototype exoskeleton suit supporting the body movement. The wearable device consists of a movement mechanism, and a microcontroller-driven system. The development of the device is based on a normal human's gait. In addition, the prototype has a mechanism for limiting the degree of movement of the joints in the waist and knee, with both mechanical and electrical security. Finally, this device can help the patient's body stood up and assist the walk, which allowing them to take care of themselves and not rely on the family and society. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Novel limited knee flexion angle device(2017-12-19) ;Reanaree, ParkbhumKnee injuries have become more common in Thailand, either caused from the sport or from the accident. The treatment is mostly a surgery. Hence, after the surgery, the patient must be closely monitored to prevent complications and repetitive injury. It also requires physical therapy to restore the knee function to resume a normal use. For this reason, the idea of creating a device that can restrict the patient's knee bend by internal mechanisms to prevent repetitive injury was brought out by measuring the flexion of the patient's knee using 3-axis Accelerometer / Gyro Module (IMU). The information is then displayed through a computer program created so that the doctor or physiotherapist can adjust the therapy to suit a particular patient individually. This will result the patient to return to normal life as quickly as possible. The device is designed by computer aided design (CAD) software and is simulated. The device has an electronic circuit that communicates with the computer wirelessly (Bluetooth) to send data to the display on the generated program. The bending angle can be displayed immediately and recorded for a diagnosis and recovery of the patient.2 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Stress and office-syndrome detection using EEG, HRV and hand movement(2017-02-21) ;Reanaree, Parkbhum ;Tananchana, Polachet ;Narongwongwathana, WorapongStress and Office syndrome are a serious problem that affects a large number of people and tend to develop health problems that can interfere with work and quality of life. In fact, the Institute reports that up to 90 percent clinical studies have shown that stress and office syndrome are a major cause of cardiovascular disease, depression, suicide and substance abuse. Treatment's cost are more than ten million baht each year in healthcare expenses. According to these problems we designed to use wearable technology which can be tracked and managed to helping them reduce their problems. Low-cost single dry-sensor EEG Neurosky headset and intelligent watch made by Arduino was used in this project. The EEG signal, hear rate variation and hand movement are analyzed to indicate stress level and the Office syndrome can be detected by intelligent watch. The goals of this research is to detect stress and Office syndrome and reduce chance to be the diseases.
