Item type:Publication, Adapting the Baldrige Framework for Sustainable Creative Education: Urban Design, Architecture, Art, and Design Programs(2025-10-01); ;Wannaphapa, Ukrit; ; Chutapruttikorn, RittirongTwo critical research problems emerge in creative education quality management: the framework misalignment problem, where business-oriented performance metrics inadequately assess design creativity and innovation, and the sustainability integration gap, reflecting limited incorporation of environmental and social sustainability dimensions into excellence models. This review article addresses these problems by developing an initial framework that adapts the Baldrige framework for urban design, architecture, art, and design education with integrated sustainability principles. Drawing on literature review and theoretical synthesis, the article proposes a framework that introduces three key epistemological shifts: prioritizing process over product, supporting non-linear and reflective learning pathways, and recognizing tacit, embodied, and experiential knowledge as central to creative education. The framework incorporates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as core design challenges and introduces innovative evaluation tools, including portfolios with iterative review processes, community feedback loops, and SDG mapping rubrics. This research contributes to the educational quality management literature by offering a systematic framework that bridges business excellence models with creative education paradigms while positioning sustainability as a core educational objective rather than a peripheral concern.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A Conceptual Framework and Website Design for Promoting Cultural Tourism in Kalasin Province for Travelers Using Big Bikes(2024-12-01) ;Wongpracha, Boonyarich; ; ; Sumthumpruek, ApinantnMotorcycle tourism is considered a source of high-value tourists, as this group is willing to pay a premium for their unique experiences. This premium provides the benefit of increased income for the local economy. However, compared to mass tourism, there is a lack of information for motorcycle tourists that is specific to their lifestyle and needs. Moreover, there is no conceptual framework or official website about tourist information, accommodations, and facilities for motorcycle tourism in Thailand. Therefore, this study aims to propose a framework, and to create and evaluate a big bike cultural tourism website of Kalasin province. Three sub-studies with different methods were applied. First, four experts and 18 big bike tourists were interviewed to identify guidelines that would help to create a website. Next, the website, www.kalasin.city, was created from the users’ needs. Finally, the website was evaluated for four main factors (user experience (UX), user interface (UI), content, and desirability), and the conceptual framework was proposed. The findings indicate that UX received an average mean score of 4.47 (satisfied); UI, 4.47 (satisfied); content, 4.48 (satisfied); and desirability, 4.54 (very satisfied)-meaning that big bike users are motivated to travel in Kalasin province.4 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Design and Manufacture of Solar Hot Air Balloons with Different Envelope Shapes(2022-01-01) ;Korawutwiwat, Kasama ;Sukchai, PhitchayaThis paper reports on the design and manufacture of the spherical and tetrahedral solar hot air balloons. For the sake of consistency, these two balloons are made of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic sheet with a thickness of 0.025 mm and are of similar volumes. In this study, the performance of these balloons is mainly assessed by the difference between the internal air temperature of a balloon and the ambient air temperature at a given solar radiation flux range. Three thermocouples are placed at an interval of approximately 0.5 m to measure the internal temperatures of the balloon. In conjunction with these measurements, a thermal camera is used to approximate the distributions of the temperature on the balloon surfaces. The results showed that the effects of solar radiation flux and altitude on the balloon lift force are similar for all envelope shapes and could be approximated with linear functions. Nevertheless, the spherical balloon is expected to be able to carry more payloads than the tetrahedral balloon as it weights less than the tetrahedral balloon of the same volume. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Planning, Design and Installation of a Hybrid Power Filter to Power Quality Improvement for Grid-Connected Renewable Energy Systems(2020-11-24) ;Boonseng, C. ;Boosseng, R.Kularbphettong, K.This paper is a preliminary basis in the design, planning, and implementation of hybrid power filter systems (HPFs) for application in grid-connected solar rooftop at industrial plants beginning the planning and designing of a 260 kWp solar rooftop according to the factory roof size. Calculate total returns by using the PV system design software program to find the total kWh received per year. As the power system in this factory has a load that is sensitive to power quality and harmonics, it is necessary to design a harmonic protection system by choosing the HPFs to reduced and control the harmonics. Noise filters should be used to prevent high-frequency signals from entering the electrical system. In addition, lightning protection devices are also designed by using the bus bar to connect the system to the ground. All actions have been carried out in accordance with the designed plan and able to perform as intended.
