Item type:Publication, Requirements for Developing A Mobile Application to Assist with Career Transition: Design Science Research Methodology(2022-01-01); The purpose of this study is to propose the Design Science Research (DSR)'s phases of problem identification and solution development for the development of a mobile application for career transition assistance. The application aims to connect dismissed employees to potential transitional careers. As a result, the requirements are gathered through interviews with an Outplacement & Career Transition consultant, a downsizing employer, and an impacted employee using Qualitative Research Methodology. The mobile application could help outplaced people by identifying their current skill sets, listing potential careers ranked by skill gaps, and connecting them to resources to close those gaps. Contributing to the body of knowledge within a pragmatic research paradigm by developing a set of designed career transition principles. Researchers will benefit from the established model of career transition requirements, whereas practitioners, such as software developers, will be able to apply these findings to further develop the mobile application. Employers, employees, and consulting firms will all benefit from this identified requirement once the application is developed appropriately.2 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, SUBTAWEE Transportation Management on Mobile Application(2022-01-01) ;Maliwan, Nattaphorn ;Maliwan, ChonladaThis paper provides information about the design of the mobile application for transportation management. Initially, the user must be logged in to access the mobile application. It is divided into 3 access roles, i.e., 1) administrator can use job summary, time verification function, and driver function, 2) staff can use the driver's time and time verification function, and 3) driver can use the job function. The application's movement data since login. Confirmation of the time of the car leaving the plant. Job verification on behalf of the driver, including the driver confirming the customer submission, is stored in the entire database, which is notified every time it is logged in and when the work is sent to the customer via the Line Notification, as well as the daily revenue amount and monthly income is displayed. Displays within the proposed mobile application to keep drivers informed. The mobile application is convenient to use and work very well for the transportation management of the SUBTAWEE Concrete Company Langsuan Co., Ltd. This mobile application can be applied to the transportation management and the others similarly process. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Voice over IP Integration Platform Performance Using EC2 AWS Cloud Service(2022-01-01) ;Sathaporn, Posathip; ;Chaowalittawin, Vasutorn; This article describes a method for integrating a mobile application for controlling and transmitting voice data levels in various departments within an organization with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (AWS EC2) to reduce hardware location costs and create more convenient in-house management at a single point. To begin, the paper introduces the project objective with a business scenario from an organization. Second, the SIP server implementation method is provided by Asterisk on AWS EC2 Ubuntu operating system and connection with a Mobile application that is used by flutter framework. Finally, the project experiments and discussions will be presented, and the obtained results show that the call setup time for the iOS/Android platforms to PC performed the best, taking less than one second, and was the fastest when compared to other testing metrics. However, there are many more metrics that should be considered, which are presented in the research's results section. With high performance and stability, this article was able to broadcast voice data via mobile applications.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Using mobile application as an instrument for ptosis diagnosis(2017-07-02); Sirivimonsattaya, PongpichaThis article proposes a novel of mobile application to help ophthalmologists diagnose the Ptosis disease. This application applied digital image processing techniques to identify eye parameters: Marginal Reflex Distance-1, Marginal Reflex Distance-2, and L/M Ratio which doctors can use to diagnose patients besides using naked eyes. The application was built for iOS platform in the first version. The inputs of the application are the images of patient's eyes from a mobile device camera or from a mobile device memory. After using digital image processing techniques, at the end of the process, the eye parameters will be displayed on the mobile device screen for the doctors to be used. The experimental results indicated that the proposed mobile application can perform with 86.36% of accuracy in measuring Marginal Reflex Distance-1 value while it can measure Marginal Reflex Distance-2 value with 63.64% of accuracy. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Mobile Crime Incident Reporting System using UX dimensions guideline(2015-05-21) ;Vatanasuk, Natruja ;Chomputawat, Anuthep ;Chomputawat, SirikanyaChatwiriya, WatcharaCrime incidents tend to increase steadily. To effectively respond to the incidents, police officers need to have a highly efficient incident reporting system. However, the telephone-based incident reporting system currently used has some limitations. It cannot cope with current problems and meet all requirements. Since mobile devices, especially smartphones, are prevalent, widely used and can transmit various types of information, they thus become an additional channel to the telephone-based incident reporting system. This paper proposes Mobile Crime Incident Reporting System, which comprises two parts. The incident report part was developed as a mobile application. To make it suitable for reporting crime or emergency incidents, UX dimensions guideline was used in the following order; 1) Identification 2) Emotion 3) Stimulation 4) Social relatedness/Co-experience 5) Visual and aesthetic experience and 6) Meaning and Value. The incident response part was developed as a web application. The system was tested by two groups of police officers; one acted as incident reporters, the other as incident response officers. The test result showed that the officers were satisfied with the application's user interface. They could easily learn how to use the system. The system also helped reduce the officers' response time because the system provided enough information which the officers needed to make quick and appropriate decision.
