Item type:Publication, Accurate RMS calculations for periodic signals by Trapezoidal rule with the least data amount(2013-11-12) ;Poomjan, Sompop; ; ; The purpose of this research is to present a simple method using the least data amount to calculate root mean square (RMS) values of periodic signals (constructed from Fourier series) which the highest harmonic order is known or able to be estimated. In the research, trapezoidal rule with the least data amount was proved and tried to calculate definite integral values of sinusoidal signals from a lot of trial runs until a significant property was found. Then the property would be deployed to calculate RMS values. Results of the research can provide not only more convenient processes of simple trapezoidal rule but also more accurate results than the patented Simpson's rule in the same least data amount. © 2013 Sompop Poomjan et al. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Molecular network based on ant colony system via wavelength routers(2010-09-01); ;Praitoonwattanakit, K.Yupapin, P. P.We propose a new method of molecular transporters generations based on ant colony algorithm for molecular classification and storage applications. The transportation network of molecules via multitweezers inside the close system can be manipulated in the same way of ant colony algorithm relationship. In the proposed method, we assign that each of ants represents an individual tweezer. By using ant colony system, the random codes can be used to communicate between ants inside swarm with pheromone being formed the random network. The quantum state of transporter (individual ant) with different states and wavelengths is represented by the pheromone. In application, this proposal can be an alternative random networking which may be used for communication security, where the fast multiple access may be plausible. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Error corrections of quantum key distribution of the quantum codes via optical wireless link(2011-03-01); ;Praithoonwattanakit, K. ;Yupapin, P. P.Suchat, S.Quantum key generated by using a fiber optic Mach Zehnder interferometer incorporating a fiber optic ring resonator is proposed. The generated quantum key is distributed via an optical wireless link system, which is available for the free space link. The random quantum bits can be formed and used as the secret codes in quantum communication system. By adding an ancillary photon after the signal photon within the correlation time of the fiber noise and by performing quantum parity checking, the high fidelity to the noiseless quantum in free space is achieved by the technique known as the quantum error correction. © 2010 Elsevier GmbH. Item type:Publication, Proof of using fourier coefficients for root mean square calculations on periodic signals(2013-01-01) ;Poomjan, Sompop; ; ; The purpose of this work is to academically prove using Fourier coefficients of periodic signals for root mean square (RMS) calculations. In the detail, properties of Fourier series are brought to calculate RMS values of periodic signals obviously. Results from this work can confirm that this method is more convenient, efficient and simple for RMS calculations than Calculus integration technique (if Fourier coefficients are given) and can be cited for further researches. © 2014 Sompop Poomjan et al.
