This paper presents the current-mode multi-input single-output (MISO) biquadratic filter using current-controlled current differencing tranconductance amplifier (CCCDTA) as an active building block. The proposed circuit comprises three CCCDTAs and two grounded capacitors performing completely standard functions: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, bandreject and all-pass functions and does not require double input current signals as well as inverting input currents. The pole frequency and quality factor of the proposed circuit can be adjusted electronically/independently via dc bias currents. In addition, the filter circuit has low-input and high-output impedance which facilitates easy connecting for current-mode circuit. The proposed circuit uses all grounded capacitors which is very suitable to further develop into an integrated circuit and without requiring any matching condition. Moreover, the active and passive sensitivities are low. The PSPICE simulation results are included to show the workability of the proposed circuit.

In this study, a current-mode first order allpass filter using current follower transconductance amplifiers (CFTAs) is proposed. The features of the circuit are that: the pole frequency, phase response and current gain can be electronically controlled via the input bias current: the circuit description is very simple, consisting of 2 CFTAs, 1 resistor and 1 grounded capacitor, without any component matching requirements. Consequently, the proposed circuit is very appropriate to further develop into an integrated circuit. Low input and high output impedances of the proposed configuration enable the circuit to be cascaded in current-mode without additional current buffers. The PSpice simulation results are depicted. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation.

The paper presents two current-mode quadrature oscillators with non-interactive two current controls for both of the condition of oscillation (CO) and the frequency of oscillation (FO) using current controlled current conveyors (CCCIIs). The proposed oscillators can provide two sinusoidal output currents with 90 degrees phase difference. It also provides high output impedances that make the circuit can directly drive load without additional current buffer. The condition of oscillation and frequency of oscillation can be controlled by adjusting the bias currents of the CCCIIs. The proposed circuits use only grounded capacitors without any external resistor which is very appropriate for further development into an integrated circuit. The results of PSPICE simulation program are corresponding to the theoretical analysis. Copyright © 2012 The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.

This paper presents three current-mode quadrature oscillator (QO) circuits based on dual-output current differencing transconductance amplifier (DO-CDTA) which is designed from block diagram. The proposed circuits consist of two DO-CDTAs and two grounded capacitors. The circuits can provide two sinusoidal output currents with 90° phase difference. The condition of oscillation (CO) can be adjusted independently from the frequency of oscillation (FO) by adjusting the bias currents of the DO-CDTA. The proposed circuits have high output impedance appropriate for cascade connection application in current mode which is capable to directly drive load. The circuits use only grounded capacitors without any external resistor which is very appropriate for further development into an integrated circuit. Moreover, the oscillator circuits can also adjust amplitude of the output signal. This paper presents current-mode first-order allpass filter using three operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and grounded capacitor. The use of grounded capacitor makes the circuit more suitable for integrated circuit implementation. The current gain and phase shift can be independently controlled with electronic method. The circuit has high output impedance which enables easy cascading in the current mode circuits. The PSpice simulation results are depicted. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation. © 2013 IEEE.

The realization of current-mode biquad filter using current controlled current follower transconductance amplifiers (CCCFTAs) and grounded capacitors is presented. The proposed filter can simultaneously provide three standard transfer functions (low pass, high pass and band pass filter). The tuning of quality factor can be done without affecting the pole frequency. Low input and high output impedances of the configurations enable the circuit to be cascaded without additional current buffers. The use of only grounded capacitors is ideal for integration. The circuit performances are depicted through PSpice simulations, they show good agreement to theoretical anticipation. © 2013 ADVANCES IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING.

This article presents a current-mode universal filter based-on parallel RLC circuit using CCCCTAs as active element. The pole frequency and quality factor can be electronically/ orthogonally controlled via input bias currents. The circuit description consists of merely 2 CCCCTAs and 2 grounded capacitors. Without any external resistors, the proposed circuit is then suitable for IC architecture. The proposed circuit due to high output impedances enable easy cascading in current-mode. The PSPICE simulation results are depicted, and the given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper presents the current-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator employing current controlled current follower transconductance amplifier (CCCFTA). The proposed oscillator can provide two sinusoidal waveforms with high output impedance which makes the proposed oscillator can directly drive load or cascade in current mode circuit without any current buffers. The condition of oscillation (CO) and frequency of oscillation (FO) can be orthogonally controlled by mean of electronic tuning. The circuit consists of only single CCCFTA and three grounded passive elements which is ideal for implementation on an integrated circuit (IC) chip. The predicted results confirmed with Pspice simulation using a BJT technology are agreed with theoretical analysis. The total power consumption is approximately 1.28mW at ±2.5V power supply voltages. © 2013 IEEE.
