Item type:Publication, Development of Students' Technology, Cognitive and Content Knowledge (TSCCK) through a cloud to enhance Vocational students' cognitive load and learning achievement(2023-02-01) ;Wu, QiongScience and technology's applications in education are receiving increasing attention year by year. Based on cognitive load theory, this study used the cloud to develop the TSCCK model for vocational students to improve their cognitive load and academic performance. To define the three cognitive concepts of student technology knowledge (STK), student content knowledge (SK), and student cognitive knowledge (SCK). The study used the research and development method, the steps were: to study, analyze, and synthesize cognitive load theory for the development of the TSCCK model: document research, which includes the data source, research instruments, and data analysis. Item type:Publication, Effectiveness of an e-Portfolio to Enhance Self-Regulated Learning(2025-01-01) ;Khwankaew, Apichaya; Morris, JohnThis study empowers teachers to tailor training to student needs: challenges in e-Portfolio creation were addressed focusing on self-regulated learning for undergraduate students. The objectives were (1) to encourage undergraduate students to create an e-Portfolio and (2) to study the effectiveness of self-regulation for undergraduate students in a flipped classroom environment. Data was collected from 40 Mass Communication and Technology students. A one-shot case study revealed post-test scores of participants were significantly higher than the threshold of 80%. Item type:Publication, Exploring the Impact of Project-Based Learning with Flipped Classroom on Practical Skills in Chemical Drawing and AutoCAD(2025-01-01) ;Huang, Zehua; Huang, YuanshengCurrently, chemical drawing and AutoCAD faces some challenges such as students' not so good practical skills, students combining theoretical concept with real world application not well, personalized teaching method covering all students hard, students feeling too short time for designing complicated project, students in passive learning environment in class. This research combined project-based learning with flipped classroom to enhance students' practical skills. In order to solve the problem that it was difficult for students to master drawing skills in vocational AutoCAD courses, this research designs an experiment involving experimental group as well as control group and takes advantage of independent sample t-test to analyze significance in statistic. According to analyze experimental data, Average score in experimental group was higher than that in control group. Furthermore, futural research can compare only project-based learning or only flipped classroom with the method that mixing project-based learning with flipped classroom together. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Artificial Intelligence Enhancing Physical Education: A systematic literature review(2024-01-01) ;Zhao, Juan; This study aims to systematically review the application of Artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance physical education (PE). To this end, 104 journals in the databases of Baidu Scholar, Google Scholar, and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang Library from 2014 to October 2023 were selected as research objects, and the research results were analyzed using the content analysis method. The analysis results show that the first research on this topic was conducted in 2014, and the Number of relevant studies has increased yearly, especially during the pandemic. In addition, these studies were mainly conducted in a combination of quantitative and qualitative, mainly journal articles. In addition, the samples of these studies are from each academic section, and most of the studies are conducted by college students. The analysis focuses on article distribution, publication time, research content, technology selection, and current and future challenges and summarizes the development trend, specific applications, benefits, and challenges of AI sports. The findings of the studies revealed that AI technology in PE can improve students' physical achievement, cognition, and learning habits. On the other hand, AI technology can enhance the effect of PE so that students have a greater interest in learning sports. Item type:Publication, Satisfaction of Students' Technology, Cognitive and Content Knowledge (TSCCK) in the cloud(2023-02-01) ;Wu, QiongThe TSCCK model includes Student Cognitive Knowledge (SCK) which refers to the concept of cognitive load involved in cognitive load theory and how teachers should adopt appropriate instruction design to promote students' learning. Student Technology Knowledge (STK) refers to students' knowledge of traditional and new technologies that can be integrated into learning. Student Content Knowledge (SK) refers to any subject-related knowledge that a student should learn. Firstly, we randomly selected 90 students from a total of 115 students (simple random sampling) majoring in E-commerce to participate in the experiment. Questionnaire (5-point Likert scale) to understand the current status of technology, cognitive, and content knowledge of vocational college students. Secondly, to verify the TSCCK model, experts were invited to test and evaluate the model's reliability and validity, the scores of the TSCCK model were evaluated by five experts through a questionnaire (5-point Likert scale), in which the maximum mean score was 4.8, and the minimum mean score was 4.6. As can be seen from the table, the overall mean was 4.6, and the SD was 0.4. Therefore, experts agreed with the core idea of the TSCCK model. This means that the TSCCK model's three basic ideas have been recognized by experts. Thirdly, to find the satisfaction level of the vocational students' technology, cognitive, and content knowledge, under the TSCCK model with a cloud for vocational students, 10 students were taught using the TSCCK model with a cloud; and they were assessed by an E-commerce test and WP scale, with criteria of 80% for the achievement test and the low cognitive load (WP scale) level. The result from the E-commerce test score were passed (criteria: 80%) and the WP scale scores were low among the students, and the questionnaire also showed a satisfactory level.
