Item type:Publication, UWB Transmission Waveform Application for in an Indoor Localization System(2024-01-01) ;Mankong, Thanadon; Nowadays, the indoor localization systems had been widely utilized. The popular use of localization system is the global position system (GPS). However, the system fails in particular environments such as indoors because low received signal power. It is not appropriate to take a position. The indoor localization system was used to assist in finding a position in an indoor environment. There are several techniques used to evaluate. Technique trilateration model is a technique of geometric. This technique leverages circular intersections to estimate target positions. The circles are derived from a set of reference positions. This paper studies on indoor positioning in line of sight (LOS) using by IEEE 802.15.4 standard in ultra wideband option which this study employs trilateration to estimate the position of target objects. Biconical antennas with vertical polarization serve as both transmitting and receiving elements. The evaluation is conducted using a vector network analyzer (VNA) across a frequency range of 3GHz to 11GHz. However, the route discovery process of the location-Aided routing (LAR) is ineffective in void zone environments where data packets cannot reach their intended destination. To address this issue, this paper presents a new approach called Location-Aided base on trajectory that eliminates the void zone. The results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing approaches in terms of reachability, making it a more robust alternative to the default location-Aided routing protocol. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Accuracy Analysis of Indoor Positioning Using Min-Max Method(2025-01-01); ;Vinicchayakul, Wipassorn ;Tabsombat, Sirinya; In this paper, the accuracy analysis of indoor positioning using min-max method is proposed. The distance error model is applied to estimate the distance between the transmitter and user's position with different path loss exponent and fading amount of indoor channel. The total $\mathbf{1 0 0}$ coordinates of user's positions are estimated using min-max method. The distance error at each position, probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of distance errors are illustrated. The mean of analysis distance error corresponds with the mean of measurement distance error with same path loss exponent and fading amount of indoor channel. The results show that it is possible to use this accuracy analysis to estimate the distance error in an indoor environment. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A WiFi Link Budget Analysis of Drone-based Communication and IoT Ground Sensors(2021-04-01) ;Supramongkonset, Jatupotn; An application of drone-based wireless networking in agricultural scenarios needs to analyze the radio link budget because of the uncertain propagation from the surrounding. This paper presents a link budget analysis between drone as a drone small cell (DSC) and Internet of Things (IoT) as a ground sensor. The measurement results show the received signal strength indicator (RSSI), path loss, and delay spread at 2.4 GHz frequency when considering the numbers of ground sensors to 15 points and use a single drone enabled with WiFi portable link. It can be found that drone DSC can compensate for the limited power of ground sensors and link budget analysis can optimally evaluate the communication channel in this scenario. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Therefore, the channel's characteristics and the human body effect must be studied. This paper will investigate the wireless body area network localization and ZigBee technology based on the IEEE 802.15.4. Moreover, model wireless body area network measurement using a vector network analyzer at the frequency range of 2.2 GHz to 2.6 GHz for measurement and recording. In the experiment result, the wireless body area network localization is analyzed and evaluated by considering the received signal strength and distance error shown in the cumulative distribution function based on the CLEAN algorithm. Item type:Publication, A Study of Low Band UWB Localization with Wooden and Metal Bookshelves Based on Measurement Data(2024-01-01) ;Mankong, Thanadon; This paper considers the potential of Impulse-Radio Ultra-Wideband (IR-UWB) technology which can be a barcodes replacement in bookshelf management systems. To assess its feasibility, we analyze IR-UWB propagation characteristics within bookshelf environments, particularly focusing on the impact of wooden and metal structures. A measurement-based evaluation scheme is employed, utilizing a vector network analyzer (VNA) alongside microstrip patch antennas for both the transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) operating within a frequency range of 3.2GHz to 4.8GHz. The path loss, received signal strength (RSS), and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the measured data are then analyzed to evaluate the suitability of IR-UWB for bookshelf management applications. Item type:Publication, Path Loss Analysis of RFID Channles Measurement in Library with Metal Bookshelves(2023-01-01) ;Supramongkonset, JatupornThe radio frequency identification (RFID) library management system has gained popularity in libraries due to its convenience and improved efficiency. Accurate channel modeling is crucial for predicting system performance and received power. This paper focuses on modeling the channel characteristics of metal bookshelves in RFID library management systems operating at a frequency of 2.45 GHz. We employ microstrip patch antennas as both transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) antennas, considering both vertical-vertical (V-V) and horizontal-horizontal (H-H) polarizations. Linear regression analysis models the path loss characteristic, allowing us to establish a mathematical relationship that accurately represents the path loss between the antennas. Furthermore, statistical models based on cumulative distribution function (CDF) are employed to characterize multipath fading, providing insights into the distribution of signal variations caused by multipath propagation. The experimental results indicate that metal bookshelves with V-V and H-H polarizations are suitable for the performance of RFID library management systems. The path loss models generated through linear regression analysis enable accurate prediction of received power, while the statistical models based on CDF contribute to a comprehensive understanding of multipath fading and its impact on system performance. This study provides valuable insights for librarians and system designers seeking to implement efficient and reliable RFID technology in library management systems. By examining and modeling the channel characteristics of metal bookshelves, our findings support the optimal use of V-V and H-H polarizations, ensuring the effective operation of RFID systems in library environments. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Which have been studied by many research for this thesis, consider finding positions using signals. The digital terrestrial television signal was used for positioning. The measurement model is designed with 121 positions covering an area of lO× 10 square meters by installing an antenna receiving height of 1 meter for reference height and 6 meters as specified by the NBTC. The distance from the transmit antenna to the receiving antenna is about 26 kilometers, using spectrum analyzers to measure and collect the results for analysis and compare the distance errors by using a fingerprinting technique and clean algorithm and a clean algorithm to get the most suitable signal. It can be seen that the distance error is reduced. So, it will be more accurate and the basis for future studies. Moreover, it can locate more accurately using digital terrestrial television signals, The DVB-T2 standard digital terrestrial television signal and fingerprinting technique, and the CLEAN algorithm. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

This paper, consider the accuracy with weighted algorithm (WA) based on wireless network received signal strength is evaluated for localization. The wireless transmission model using wireless ISM band with four reference nodes and one target node operated at frequency of 5.8 GHz. Distance error is used to evaluate the precision of location approximation with respected to the CDF. The received signal strength in measurement field is presented in this paper. The RFID propagation channel characteristics and environment effect should be known. In this study to evaluate the RFID propagation loss with wooden and metal bookshelves based on data of measurement. Experimental study evaluation of RFID multimedia system with bookshelves is using vector network analyzer (VNA) and the microstrip patch antennas of transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) antennas at a frequency range from 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz. The results of experiment are considering the path loss, received signal strength (RSS), and comparison the path loss differences with cumulative distribution function (CDF) to evaluated, respectively. In this research work are necessary for RFID antenna design and evaluate the RFID multimedia systems.
