Item type:Publication, Electronically tunable phase shifter using CDTAs(2009-12-01) ;Marungreang, Nattaphon ;Tanjaroen, Wason; The realization of an electronically tunable phase shifter using current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) as active components is presented. The proposed filter employs only two CDTAs and one virtually grounded capacitor, which its phase shift can be electronically adjusted by varying the bias current of the CDTA. The circuit also exhibits high-output impedance, which is easy cascading in the current-mode operation. As application example, the current-mode biquad filter based on the proposed CDTA-based phase shifter circuit is also presented. PSPICE simulation results of the proposed circuit and its application are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Automated Elderly-Tracking Robot Prototype Using an AI-Based Vision Camera(2026-01-01) ;Pimpol, Jirapun ;Mongkolwai, Pratya; This paper presents the design and implementation of an automated elderly-tracking robot prototype that integrates an AI-based HuskyLens vision sensor with ultrasonic sensors for target detection, tracking, and obstacle avoidance. Sensor data are processed by an Arduino UNO microcontroller, which controls TorqueNADO motors to achieve autonomous navigation and real-time motion control. The system also incorporates an ESP32-CAM module to provide live video streaming of the elderly user via the Blynk smartphone application, enabling remote monitoring over the Internet. In addition, the prototype supports a maximum payload of 3 kg for carrying essential lightweight items for elderly users. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed robot meets the intended design objectives and validates the practical feasibility of the system. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, CDTA-based current limiters and applications(2008-12-01); In this paper, a synthesis of analog current limiter (CL) building blocks based on a current differencing transconductance amplifier (CDTA) is proposed. The breakpoint and the slope of the resulting transfer characteristic obtained from the proposed CDTA-based CLs are electronically programmable through the external bias currents. To demonstrate versatility of the proposed electronically tunable CLs, some nonlinear applications to programmable current- mode precision full-wave rectifier and piecewise-linear function approximation generators are also presented. SPICE simulations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed circuits. © 2008 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simple BiCMOS voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifier (VDIBA) realization and application(2014-01-01); This work describes an integrable circuit technique to implement the recently defined active circuit block, namely a voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifier (VDIBA), suitable for integration in BiCMOS technology. The proposed VDIBA is composed of the differential-input transconductance amplifier as an input stage, and the unity-gain inverting voltage amplifier as an output stage. The circuit has been designed using bipolar and MOS transistors, in order to achieve the advantages of the both technologies. The performances of the realized VDIBA element are analyzed and discussed in detail. Simulation results with 0.35μm BiCMOS real process parameters verify the expected performance of the proposed circuit. As an application example, the proposed VDBA is employed to realize a canonical and resistorless first-order allpass filter. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Dual-mode multifunction filter realized with a single voltage differencing gain amplifier (vdga)(2021-01-01); ; Channumsin, OrapinThis article presents the dual-mode multifunction biquad filter realized employing only a single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA), one resistor and three capacitors. The proposed filterwith one input and three outputs can configure as voltage-mode or current-mode filter circuit with the appropriate input injection choice. It can also synthesis the three standard filter functions, which are highpass, bandpass, and lowpass responses without modifying the circuit configuration. Orthogonal adjustment between the natural angular frequency (ωo) and the quality factor (Q) of the filter is achieved. Detail analysis of non-ideal VDGA effects and circuit component sensitivity are included. The circuit principle is verified by means of simulation results with TSMC 0.35-μm CMOS process parameters. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Low passive component-count current follower-based current-mode second-order notch filter(2005-01-01) ;Prasertsom, D.; ; Surakampontorn, W.A realization of a current-mode second-order notch filter using current followers (CFs) and a minimum number of passive elements is proposed. The proposed filter has a high output impedance, consequently it can be cascaded without using additional buffers. The filter displays low incremental passive sensitivities. Moreover, if the passive element values are properly chosen, the circuit permits also the realization of allpass response. The SPICE simulation results are given to verify the theoretical predicted behaviors. © 2005 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Structural generation of two integrator loop filters using CDTAs and grounded capacitors(2011-01-01); A versatile family of two integrator loop filter structures using current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) and grounded capacitors is generated. The basic filter building blocks consist of current proportional blocks, current lossless integrators and a current lossy integrator based on the use of CDTAs as the major active components. It is demonstrated that the derived filter structures can realize a general class of second-order current transfer functions. Since the resulting structures contain only CDTAs and grounded capacitors, they are general and very appropriate for integration, cascading and electronic tuning. The influences of the CDTA non-idealities are also discussed. The functionality of the resulting filters has been verified by simulation results. © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simple current-mode analog multiplier, divider, square-rooter and squarer based on CDTAs(2011-03-01); ; ;Mongkolwai, PratyaSurakampontorn, WanlopIn this paper, the design of simple analog current-mode multiplier, divider, square-rooter and squarer circuits using only two current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) is proposed. With the selection of the applied input currents, the proposed circuit can perform four-quadrant current multiplication, division and current-controlled current amplification, without changing its configuration. Moreover, the current-mode square-rooter and squarer circuits can easily be obtained with the possibility of electronically transfer gain adjustment by slight modification of the proposed configuration. All the proposed circuits are insensitive to ambient temperature variations. Additionally, the CDTA non-ideality effects on the proposed circuits are also investigated and discussed. The performances of the realized circuits are examined by PSPICE simulations. © 2010 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simple current-mode square-rooting circuit with temperature compensation using only OTAs(2010-01-01); ;Prasertsom, Danucha; Surakampontorn, WanlopA simple current-controlled current-mode square-rooting circuit with temperature compensation employing operational transconductance amplifi ers (OTAs) as active elements is proposed. It has been designed by using only four OTAs, without the employment of additional passive elements. The current gain of the proposed circuit can be electronically controlled, thanks to the tuning property of the OTA. Simulation and experimental results are obtained to verify the theoretical analysis of the proposed circuit technique. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, CCCII-based high-output impedance current-mode universal filter employing only grounded capacitors(2006-12-01) ;Jangsamsi, Niwat; A current-controlled current-mode universal filter with three inputs and one output using only three current-controlled current conyevors (CCCIIs) and two grounded capacitors is described. The proposed filter provides lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current outputs at a high impedance terminal, which enable easy cascadability. The filter also offers an independent electronic control of the natural frequency ω<inf>0</inf> and the parameter ω<inf>0</inf>Q through adjusting the bias current of the CCCII. No critical matching condition is required for realizing all the filter responses, and all the incremental parameter sensitivities are low. The performances of the proposed circuit are simulated with PSPICE to confirm the presented theory. © 2006 ICASE.
