Item type:Publication, Design and Experimental Verification of an Integrated Boost-Flyback Converter with Voltage Multiplier(2024-01-01) ;Tattiwong, Kaweewat ;Sopin, Anan ;Poungnoiy, Saisunee ;Kalnaowakul, PhuriSinghata, NapassadolThis paper introduces the design and experimental validation of an integrated boost-flyback converter with a voltage multiplier (IBFCVM). It describes the operation of the IBFCVM and provides its essential voltage and current equations. A phototyped circuit design for a 72W, 12V-to-120V IBFCVM is presented. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed IBFCVM exhibits effective output voltage regulation, achieving an impressive efficiency of 89.9%. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simplified Analysis and Validation of a Two-switch Flyback Converter(2024-01-01) ;Wuti, Virot ;Bunlaksananusorn, Chanin ;Trakuldit, Siripan ;Tattiwong, KaweewatLuangpol, AmataThis paper presents a simplified analysis and validation of a two-switch flyback converter. When parasitic components, i.e. the MOSFET's output capacitance and transformer's leakage inductance, are neglected, circuit analysis of the two-switch flyback converter is greatly simplified and derivation of the converter equations becomes straightforward. The validity of the derived equations, which are useful for the converter design, is confirmed by simulation and experimental results. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Circular Interpolation using Siemens S7-1200(2023-01-01) ;Cheypoca, Thepjit ;Luanpol, AmataWuti, VirotThis article proposes a way to control the movement of the step motor drive to control the movement of the 3 axes using a programmable logic controller (PLC) working instead of a numerical controller (NC). The workpiece can be milled the way it is needed, but the ability to control peripherals is limited, as it is a specific control system used to move the desired position. But the limitation of smaller PLC is that there is no order used to move directly as a curve, so a higher level of PLC is required, so smaller PLC are used to program curves with circular interpolation methods [1] to enable the use of curved motion. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Productivity Increasing using the Automation Machine for Arranging Wheels into the Finished Goods Rack in a Wheels Assembly Manufacturer(2023-01-01) ;Thudthong, Jakkrit ;Maneerat, Noppadol ;Wongsomboon, Chanathip ;Sukasem, SutikamonPasaya, BunditThe automotive parts manufacturing business has continuously increased market competition. The production costs are always discussed when negotiating prices. (The price of the product is often taken into account in always negotiating with customers) Therefore, manufacturers focus on continuously reducing production costs. To maintain reasonable profits in this research, a method to reduce costs by creating an automation system to replace manual labor in the wheel packaging workstation is presented. Because human labor is one of the main costs in the cost of producing goods. This research was carried out in a wheel assembly plant in the TFD Industrial Estate and after the implementation an automation system for wheel arranging. The company can reduce production costs by reducing the number of employees in the workstation packing for 3 people and can reduce production costs by 522,000 baht per year and increase productivity by 127.84% as well. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A Simplified Analysis and Design of an RCD Clamp Forward Converter(2022-01-01) ;Wuti, Virot ;Trakuldit, Siripan ;Luangpol, Amata ;Tattiwong, KaweewatTaylim, AlisalaA conventional forward converter requires a transformer having an extra winding to assist in magnetic core reset, thus complicating the design and increasing the production cost. These shortcomings can be overcome by using an RCD clamp forward converter. This article presents a simplified analysis and design of the RCD clamp forward converter. The laboratory prototype is constructed. Experimental results demonstrates that the prototype converter is capable of providing a constant output voltage throughout its operating condition and has the maximum efficiency of 85%. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Analysis and design of a zero-voltage-switched (ZVS) quasi-resonant buck converter operating in full-wave mode(2020-07-01) ;Wuti, Virot ;Luangpol, Amata ;Tattiwong, Kaweewat ;Trakuldit, SiripanTaylim, AlisalaHard-switching is typically used in most DC-DC converters, where transition of a power switch occurs when it still carries current and is subject to voltage at the same time. The hard-switching operation incurs high stress and switching losses to the device. These problems can be alleviated by zero voltage switching in which a power switch is made to turn on and off at zero voltage. This paper presents analysis and design of a Zero-Voltage-Switched (ZVS) quasi-resonant buck converter operating in full-wave mode. The prototype converter is designed and built. Test results show that the designed converter achieves zero voltage switching and possesses good output regulation throughout its operating range. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Performance comparison between a two-switch and RCD clamp forward converters(2019-07-01) ;Wuti, Virot ;Luangpol, Amata ;Tattiwong, Kaweewat ;Sopin, AnanSirisuk, PhaophakThis paper presents performance comparison between a two-switch and RCD clamp forward converters. The performance comparison is carried out through experimentation on the two prototype circuits, which have the same circuit specifications and similar component values. Aspects to be compared include voltage stress of switching components, output voltage regulation, transient response due to a step-load, and efficiency. Test results show that, while the two converters exhibit equal performance on output voltage regulation, the two-switch forward converter has a lower voltage stress on power switching devices, faster transient response, and higher efficiency than the RCD clamp forward converter. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High efficiency postprocessor for generic NC machine(2010-12-01) ;Cheypoca, Thepjit ;Lekthamrong, Chanon ;Koomgaew, Chitpol ;Wuti, VirotRiewruja, VanchaiPostprocessor for generic numerical control (NC) machines is introduced in this article. The proposed postprocessor can convert the cutter location data from general CAD/CAM system or the path data from halftone bitmap picture to NC machine control command in the form of standard G-code. The purpose of this work is proposed a high efficiency postprocessor that can be generated linear and helical interpolation in G-code machine command without requiring CAD/CAM system facility. The input data of the postprocessor can also be directly acquired from x-y coordinates of workpiece. The proposed postprocessor is developed using visual C# programming language under window XP environment. G-code generated from the proposed postprocessor using the cutter location data of sample bitmap picture is used for experimental demonstration with generic NC machine. As the result, the proposed postprocessor exhibits a benefit for simple NC machine tool. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Electrical capacitance tomography system for monitoring process flow in pipe(2010-01-01) ;Rerkratn, Apinai ;Chitsakul, Kitiphol ;Soisup, AnekWuti, VirotThis paper presents the development system for monitoring process flow in pipe. The system consists of a cylindrical sensor with 8 surrounding electrodes attached on external surface. An electronic circuit has been realized for injecting charges into the object and collecting the node potentials around the sensor. Then the node potentials and the dielectric of small elements of cross section are calculated. The cross-section image reconstruction of dielectric distribution in pipe is based on the finite element method and linear back-projection algorithm (LBP) method. The iterative algorithm and threshold method also have been used to improve the image quality. Experimental results of the sensor filled with two different permittivity test phantoms have been displayed in gray level. The reconstructed images are closely resemble with the cross-section of the real object in pipe. © 2010 SICE.
