Item type:Publication, Similarity Model of MWA Thailand Water System for Error Estimation of Ultrasonic Flow Meter(2017-01-01) ;Wachirapunyanont, R. ;Kongratana, V. ;Gulphanich, S. ;Suesut, T.Nunak, N.This paper proposed a similarity model of MWA water system using the dimensional analysis based on the theory of Buckingham Pi for error estimation of transit-time ultrasonic flow meter with clamp-on at different installation conditions. There were three main parameters groups, i.e., pipe characteristic, meter installation, and fluid characteristic and properties and could be arranged in five Pi terms, i.e. E×(L<inf>e</inf>/D), µ/ρvD, L<inf>e</inf>/D, U<inf>s</inf>/D and U<inf>s</inf>/D. The results showed that the relative errors of measurement increased with the decreasing of upstream and downstream of meter at the same velocity and there was a possibility to use the model to determine the correction factor to compensate the velocity measurement of ultrasonic flow meter as the installation could not comply with the requirement. However, the further experiments should be performed for validation of the model predictive equation i.e., E 0.3607 E . p m. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, 3D inspection for HDD production process using laser light sectioning(2015-01-01) ;Gulphanich, S. ;Nunak, N.Suesut, T.This research proposes the automatic visual inspection from three-dimensional characteristics of Hard Disk Drive case tightening process by machine vision system using laser light sectioning. The machine vision camera captures a number of features of HDD perpendicular to a conveyor belt as seen by a laser strip light. The narrow band pass filter (650 nm.) was mouthed in front of lens in order to cut off the unwanted wavelength. After image pre-processing, the laser profiles were calculated the center of gravity to extract the image coordinate. The features used here are the laser strip profile at various locations along the HDD formulating the 3D data. The homography computation was used to transform the image coordinate to the real world distance (in metric system). This scheme can be used to inspect the completeness of screwing process of the HDD which the 2D visual inspection cannot perform on the top view. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, 3D metallic surface acquisition for inspection and reading character(2013-11-04) ;Suesut, T. ;Gulphanich, S.Roonprasang, K.This paper presents a real-time implementation of 3D acquisition for reading text and inspection the metallic surface based on light sectioning. A measurement is achieved with a standard low cost CMOS camera. Surface defects are modeled as deviations in the local relief from a smooth approximation of the surface. Discrete orthogonal bases are used to generate a smoothed global model of the surface structure. Modified discrete Tchebychev polynomials are used as orthogonal basis functions to perform least square approximations of the geometry. QR decomposition is used to obtain a unitary basis, minimizing the numerical effort when modeling surfaces. The result of test measurements on copper sheets in a production environment is presented to demonstrate the surface inspection. Another result is shown the readable character on the textured metallic surface after the proposed processing. A prototype system of the laser scanning instrument can be implemented in a production line as well. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Controller design base on servo state feedback for two-wheeled balancing robot(2012-01-01) ;Huantham, P. ;Kongratana, V. ;Gulphanich, S.Tipsuwanporn, V.This paper presents the controller design for the two-wheeled balancing robot system. The proportional- derivative (PD) controller was designed to compare the performance with servo state feedback controller designed by pole placement technique. Both controllers are used to stabilize the two-wheeled balancing robot system. Simulation results show that servo state feedback design can stabilize the balancing robot. Moreover, the presence of its large deviation angle is also better than PD controller. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Separately excited DC motor drive with fuzzy self-organizing(2007-12-01) ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Numsomran, A. ;Klinsmitth, N.Gulphanich, S.This paper presents the algorithm for speed control of a separately excited dc motor (SEDCM) drive with fuzzy self-organizing. The objective is to design the system that can learn, increase, reduce and modify rule in knowledge base or rule base to suit the case and set response within acceptable area. The concepts about state analyze and performance measure are used to determine the modification rule in the knowledge base. The structure of fuzzy self-organizing controller consists of self-organizing control, dc chopper and speed sensor devices. For the control method, the close loop speed techniques are applied. The fuzzy self-organizing algorithm is experimented by controlling the speed of separately excited dc motor. The rules of fuzzy self-organizing with separately excited dc motor is to see response when load is changed. © ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Interpretation petri net model to IEC 1131-3: LD for programmable logic controller(2004-12-01) ;Suesut, T. ;Inban, P. ;Nilas, P. ;Rerngreun, P.Gulphanich, S.The Programmable logic Controllers (PLCs) are widely used in industrial. Thus PLCs usually used the IEC 1131-3 standard programming language. The ladder diagram is the most popular language that similar to the electrical schematic diagrams which does not require a lot of the steps and sequences of the operation. Therefore it is difficult to understand the program structure and developing the system. The Petri nets is one of graphical models that can be explained the system operating easily and clearly. This paper presents the transformation structures from Petri Nets to Ladder diagram and possible implementation to control the process through PLC's input and output. In this article can be applied to other applications on any PLCs as well. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
