    Enhancing Teaching and Supervisory Staff’s Creative Problem-Solving Skills

    This research analyzed creative problem-solving (CPS) components and examined the perceptions of Thai educational personnel regarding their CPS abilities. The sample consisted of 534 primary school teachers and educational supervisors during the 2024 academic year, selected through multistage random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire assessing CPS skills, which were then analyzed using means (M), standard deviations (SD), and second-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The research revealed that the second-order CFA model for CPS among educational personnel (teachers and supervisors) consists of five key components. Ranked from highest to lowest, these were educators' perceptions of their CPS abilities to solve problems (SOL) (M = 4.23, SD = 0.54), ability to identify problems (IDE) (M = 4.17, SD = 0.57), ability to create knowledge (CRE) (M = 4.17, SD = 0.59), ability to discover concepts (INS) (M = 4.12, SD = 0.58), and ability to discover methods to solve problems (MET) (M = 4.11, SD = 0.58). The model strongly aligned with empirical data, indicating that all three models exhibited positive component weights (β) that were statistically significant at the .01 level. This finding underscores the strength of the CPS framework for educational personnel. These findings provide compelling evidence for the effectiveness of the proposed model in assessing and enhancing CPS skills among educational professionals, contributing valuable insights to both practice and future research in this field. This study fills a gap in the literature by providing empirical evidence on the CPS capabilities of educational personnel.

    Exploring the acceptance of mixed reality technology innovation among mining industry workers

    Mixed Reality (MR) technology is an innovative technology that has the capability to transform and boost productivity in the mining industry. At the same time, the scarcity of guidelines and research in examining the acceptance of MR technology innovation in the mining sector could make the adoption of MR technology innovation unpredictable. Therefore, in order to support the successful adoption of MR technology innovation in the mining sector, this manuscript is designed to better understand the factors influencing its acceptance among workers. Based on the literature review, five factors are hypothesized to influence the acceptance of mining industry workers regarding MR technology innovation. The factors underwent testing on a sample of 253 mining industry workers, which was obtained via an office-intercept survey and processed using SmartPLS software. The model has proven to be highly robust, as indicated by its outstanding scores in validity, reliability, multicollinearity, and goodness of fit. The results from the analysis indicate that attitude, perceived usefulness, and perceived compatibility are significant factors influencing the acceptance of MR technology innovation. While perceived novelty is an important factor affecting attitude, it does not significantly impact the acceptance of MR technology innovation. Moreover, perceived ease of use was not found to be a significant factor in influencing the attitude and intention to adopt MR technology innovation. This research offers both theoretical and managerial implications for its findings.

    Assessment of farmers’ acceptance, satisfaction, and utilization of mobile application for rice production cost and return in Chachoengsao Province, Thailand

    Using descriptive analysis, the results revealed that the rice production database, accessible through the mobile application, incorporates critical variables encompassing plantation areas, variable and fixed costs, total costs, yields, selling prices, income, profitability or loss, and breakeven points. The assessment of acceptance across three dimensions included content, technical and physical attributes, and perceived ease of use, that the farmers consistently demonstrated the highest level of acceptance for the mobile application. In terms of satisfaction assessment, encompassing design, content, performance, and utility, the findings uniformly indicated that farmers expressed substantial satisfaction with the rice production database accessible via the mobile application. Farmers’ feedback underscored the application’s user-friendliness and its potential for aiding production planning in subsequent seasons. Moreover, the facilitating the adoption of innovative platforms, and policymakers can empower farmers with tools to enhance productivity and induce satisfaction and confidence in modern agricultural practices.

    Comparison of cost and return for rubber farmers on innovations to increase latex production in Ban Khai District, Rayong Province, Thailand

    The findings revealed important distinctions between the two groups of farmers. Rubber farmers who opted for ethylene gas incurred a total cost of 13,973.50 baht, comprising a total fixed cost of 1,202.02 baht and a total variable cost of 12,771.48 baht. These farmers achieved a total return of 17,955 baht per rai. On the other hand, rubber farmers who refrained from using ethylene gas reported a significantly different financial performance. For this group, the total cost amounted to 9,813.49 baht, consisting of a total fixed cost of 1,202.02 baht and a total variable cost of 8,611.48 baht, while the total return per rai amounted to 10,299.57 baht. Statistical analysis indicated that the total variable costs and returns for rubber cultivation significantly differed between the two groups of farmers at a significant level of .05. However, there was no statistically significant difference in the total fixed costs. Extension services and training programmes should be provided to educate farmers on the proper and safe use of ethylene gas to maximise its benefits and minimise potential risks. Furthermore, further research could explore the long-term sustainability and environmental impact of using ethylene gas in rubber cultivation to better understand its overall implications for the industry.

    DEVELOPMENT OF A STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL OF THE VARIABLES AFFECTING THE ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF THE MASS RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEMS OF THAILAND

    Introduction: The development of the Thai transport system in the future must be based on the advancement of three aspects: personnel, technology, and research and development must be promoted for the operation of efficient innovative tools and management as key mechanisms in the transport system’s development. The master plan of the Ministry of Transport under Strategy 5 for the development of the Thai transport system within 20 years (2017-2036) stated about the need for and initiation of technology and innovation, as well as the promotion of research and development for the application of rapid advancements within these aspects so to develop the transport infrastructure and management, which would engender higher efficiency of future transport as well. Technology is required and is suitable for the analysis and evaluation of performance in the view of safety technological innovation for subway station construction. Objective: The main objective was to explore the development, congruence, and the indirect direct, and total effects of the variables affecting the organizational performance of the mass rapid transit systems of Thailand Method: This is quantitative research, collecting data from 385 executives and chiefs of organizations relating to the mass railway transit systems and private manufacturers participating in the project with state enterprise agencies. Result: Relationship between the two variables and among the multiple variables in conjunction with the estimation of the effects of the variables, which were obtained from the regression coefficients (coef.) of each individual relationship path following the hypothesis. The results indicated that all C.R. (t-test) values were statistically significant (> 1.96). Thus, every hypothesis was supported. Technology directly affects organizational performance (coef. = 0.143, p < 0.05). Technology directly affects innovation (coef. = 0.370, p < 0.001). Technology directly affects research and development (coef. = 0.786, p < 0.001). Research and development directly affects innovation (coef. = 0.624, p < 0.001). Research and development directly affects organizational performance (coef. = 0.449, p < 0.001). Innovation directly affects organizational performance (coef. = 0.372, p < 0.01). Conclusion: Technology, innovation, and research and development truly affect organizational performance. The industrial sector should be more encouraged to participate in technology learning and to step into the manufacturing chain for the development of Thailand’s rail transport system. This would also save foreign currency, create employment opportunities in the country, and have continual economic effects for the national monetary circulation, which would eventually pave the way to the enhancement as well as development of the people’s abilities in the future.

    Creativity: Influencing Factors on Student Innovation and Creativity Skills in the Design of Industrial Products

    The objective of this research was to study the influencing factors related to the creativity and innovation skills of students in the field of industrial product design, and the population was defined as three hundred and nine students in the product design program at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang with the sample group comprising two hundred and seventy-five 1st-4th year students selected using stratified sampling. Additionally, structured interviews were used as the research tool (Cronbach's alpha = 0.803), which was analyzed by Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. In this case, it was found from the EFA analysis that there were three components (KMO = 0.950): 1) the fundamental component of self-concept, 2) the consideration of the impact on others, and 3) the drive component that stimulates development, with the goodness of fit index as follows: X2 = 22.202, df = 26, relative X2 = .854, pvalue = .678, RMSEA = .000, RMR = .010, GFI = .985, AGFI = .963, NFI = .994, TLI = 1.002, PGFI = .388, RFI = .987, AIC = 102.202. In this study, the composition from EFA was shown to be consistent with the CFA by having a structural equation model with a measurement model that fits well with the theoretical model of stimulating creativity and innovation. Moreover, it corresponds to the empirical data at a good level with the following values: X2 = 19.964, relative X2 = .768, p-value = .795, RMSEA = .000, GFI = .987, CFI = 1.000.

    Digital payment system innovations: A marketing perspective on intention and actual use in the retail sector

    This study empirically investigated the marketing perspectives of behavioral intention and the actual use of digital payment solutions as electronic innovation for retail purchases in Thailand. This is important as leveraging digital innovation can be applied to minimize physical contact between retailers and customers, especially in the COVID-19 era. The UTAUT model was used and extended to include attitude, social distancing, and perceived risk variables. The study was conducted using primary data collected from 467 Thai respondents who used digital payment systems as a means of payment in retail purchases. The study data were collected employing a structured questionnaire. Techniques used in data analysis include Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The results from the data analysis highlighted that behavioral intention to use digital payment innovation in Thailand was influenced by Perceived Risk (PR), Facilitating Condition (FC), Performance Expectancy (PE), and Attitudes (AT) of people. The study also revealed that exploring the marketing perspectives, Behavioral Intention (BI) significantly influenced the Actual Use (AU) of digital payment systems. The implication is that stakeholders in retail and financial sectors, such as banks and other digital payment providers, should consider aspects of people's attitudes and perceived risk as they influence the use and adoption of innovative digital payment solutions. Thus, it is, appropriate to propose policies and regulations that promote the effective use of digital payment systems in the Thai retail sector.

    Development in technology and globalization have forced manufacturing industries to upgrade on methods and material capital of production. The traditional production in China's SME manufacturing industries is faces great competition and cost pressure when facing the global market competition. Innovation allows manufacturing industries to establish good competitive strategies, which make the enterprise performance long-term development. Using competitive strategies and innovation can improve the quality of life and bring professional and economic benefits to individuals and enterprises. The research will generate a conceptual framework to focus on the influence of competitive strategies and innovation on the performance, to enhance and inspire the better performance of SMEs. The framework will provide a template for the development, planning, and operation management of Chinese SME managers and offer a practical tool for diagnosing SME performance.

    This article presents the student development towards creative works of innovation in the Information Engineering curriculum of the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang by using the theory of cognition in wisdom, skill range, and mental range. Enlighten students have knowledge and skills in creating innovative inventions. The satisfaction survey results in the integration of teaching and learning. The criteria were at a high level (4.03), which is 80.76 percent and the achievement of students' creative innovation works is at a high level (4.16), representing 83.31 percent.

    Structural equation model of variables influencing Thai ceramics entrepreneur organisational sustainability

    The ceramics industry is vital to the economy of Thailand which globally, has been projected to reach $US705 billion by 2025. Traditionally however, for centuries the ceramics industry has been clustered in regional enclaves centred on small, entrepreneurial enterprises. This paper therefore investigated a multitude of factors including trade regulations, global competition, quality concerns, speed of development processes and production, and lack of branding and innovation, to determine the factors affecting organisational sustainability of ceramic enterprises. From the 280 Thai enterprises surveyed and analysed by use of a structural equation model by PLS-graph software it was determined that organisational performance affects organisational sustainability to the greatest extent due to monetary and non-monetary factors with an intermediate input into innovation, the business environment and business strategies. Organisational performance is also influenced by innovation and business strategies.
