Item type:Publication, Floating Series RC Impedance Simulator Using Single FB-VDBA(2020-03-01) ;Pimpol, Jirapun ;Channumsin, OrapinThis article introduces a floating series RC impedance simulator circuit employing a single fully-balanced voltage differencing buffered amplifier (FB-VDBA), as an active element. The presented simulation includes only one FB-VDBA, a single resistor, and a single capacitor. The simulated equivalent series resistance and capacitance values are alterable via the DC biasing current of the FB-VDBA. As a demonstrative application, the presented floating series RC impedance is applied to configuration a 2nd order high-pass filter. To evaluate the correctness operation of the presented circuit and its application, the simulation results based upon TSMC 0.25-μm CMOS technology are also contained. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Realization of Lossy Parallel Inductance Simulator Using Single VDGA and a Grounded Capacitor(2022-01-01) ;Satansup, Jetsdaporn; ; An active lossy parallel type inductance simulator is proposed in this study. Only a single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA) and a grounded capacitor are used in the proposed design. The realized equivalent resistance (Req) and equivalent inductance (Leq) can be adjusted electronically via the transconductance gain of the VDGA device. The influence of the non-idealities of the VDGA on the realized simulator is examined in detail. The suggested active inductance simulator is used to realize the second order voltage mode highpass filter, which is simulated using the PSPICE simulation program to ensure that it performs as expected. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A Novel Practical Fixed-Time Speed Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors with Input Saturation(2025-01-01) ;Cholahan, Varin; In this article, we focus on a control problem for the speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). An antisaturation adaptive fixed-time nonsingular sliding mode control (AFFTNSM) with disturbance estimation compensation is designed for a class of second-order nonlinear systems to improve PMSM system performance. Firstly, a novel fast fixed-time nonsingular sliding mode surface is chosen based on the error dynamic equation. Then, a practical fixed-time sliding mode control algorithm is proposed where the stability of the proposed controller is demonstrated to show the convergence of the velocity tracking error to a neighborhood of the origin in fixed-time. The implementation of feedforward compensation of disturbance enhances the dynamic performance of the fast fixed-time nonsingular sliding mode control rule, resulting in reduced chattering phenomena. Numerical simulation results are provided to verify the efficiency of the proposed method. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Single CFTA-based dual-mode biquadratic filter(2018-06-08) ;Channumsin, Orapin ;Photsathian, ThongchaiA scheme consisting of only one current follower transconductance amplifier (CFTA) and four passive components is introduced for realizing the novel dual-mode universal biquadratic filter. The introduced filter can perform either in voltage-mode or current-mode, and can realize the highpass, bandpass and lowpass filter responses simultaneously without needing any element matching constraints. The natural angular frequency (ω<inf>o</inf>) and the quality factor (Q) of the filter can be tuned electronically by the transconductance gain of the CFTA. Computer simulations are used to confirm the workability of the proposed circuit. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Voltage-mode electronically tunable universal filter employing single CFTA(2010-07-30) ;Sirirat, Jamaree; Surakampontorn, WanlopAn electronically tunable universal filter configuration which employs a single new active device namely current follower transconductance amplifier (CFTA) and four passive components is described. The presented circuit can be configured to realize all the five standard biquadratic filter functions; lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass, without changing the circuit configuration. The filter also provides the advantage features of the use of only one active component and minimum number of passive components, and independent electronic tuning of the natural angular frequency(ω <inf>o</inf>) and bandwidth (BW), as well as low active and passive sensitivities. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Grounded Series/Parallel RL/RC Immittance Simulations with a Single VDTA(2022-01-01); ; This paper discusses actively simulated RL and RC immittance simulator circuits. Only one voltage difference transconductance amplifier (VDTA) and one grounded capacitor are required for each realized simulator. The proposed simulator concept can realize all the possible series and parallel RL/RC impedance functions, with the simulated equivalent elements being tunable both electronically and separately through the VDTA's transconductance gains. The impacts of VDTA non-idealities on realized simulator performance are examined. The numerical simulations using PSPICE program, as well as experimental measurements utilizing commercially available IC CA3080s, are provided to prove the practicability of the circuits. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, FDNC realization and its application to FDNR and filter realizations(2016-01-01) ;Theingjit, Sasitapom; A simple circuit for the realization of the frequency-dependent negative conductance (FDNC) using active transconductance (C) elements is discussed. Based on the realized FDNC as fundamental circuit element, the frequency-dependent negatIve resistances (FDNR) can also be obtained. The equivalent value of the realized D element can be adjusted electronically by means of the transconductance parameters. Both simulator circuits do not require the component-matching condition , and enjoy employing only C, c ells together with two grounded capacitors; accordingly, they are canonical structures and convenient for integration. Simulation results with TSMC 0.35-urn CMOS technology are presented to validate the characteristics of the realized simulator circuits and application. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Single-input and three-output current-mode biquadratic filters using multiple-output OMAs(2002-01-01); ;Unhavanich, S. ;Dumawipata, T.Surakampontorn, W.A novel circuit configuration for the realization of the single-input and three-output (SITO) current-mode biquadratic filters employing only three multiple-output operational mirrored amplifiers (OMAs) is presented. The proposed circuit can simultaneously realize lowpass, bandpass and highpass filter functions at three high-impedance outputs without changing the circuit configuration and elements. Moreover, the resultant current-mode filter provides low passive and active sensitivities, uses of only grounded passive elements and can be orthogonal tuned of the parameters at and Q-factor. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Electronically tunable phase shifter using CDTAs(2009-12-01) ;Marungreang, Nattaphon ;Tanjaroen, Wason; The realization of an electronically tunable phase shifter using current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) as active components is presented. The proposed filter employs only two CDTAs and one virtually grounded capacitor, which its phase shift can be electronically adjusted by varying the bias current of the CDTA. The circuit also exhibits high-output impedance, which is easy cascading in the current-mode operation. As application example, the current-mode biquad filter based on the proposed CDTA-based phase shifter circuit is also presented. PSPICE simulation results of the proposed circuit and its application are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
