Item type:Publication, Wireless Carbon Monoxide Level Control and Monitoring SystemThis paper proposes an online carbon monoxide control and monitoring system. The proposed system comprises an MQ-7 CO gas sensor module, a DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensor module, an ESP8266 module, and a Relay Module. The ThingSpeak platform is used to create HMI for online monitoring of CO level, temperature, humidity, and status of the ventilation fan. This proposed system can measure CO and monitor all parameters of measurement data, alert users when CO values exceed the set value. In addition, the measured CO values are used to control the ventilation system operation (ON or OFF) to maintain the CO at a non-harmful level. The experiment testing and results with three conditions show that the proposed system can measure and monitor CO level, temperature, and humidity online with satisfying values. The ventilation fan can operate with function as a design procedure and maintain CO at a non-harmful level. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Development of an automatic control system for pressure monitoring for wheelchairs(2024-01-01) ;Techahongsa, P. ;Thawinchai, N.This article presents the design of an automatic pressure control system for measuring pressure in hospital wheelchairs. The pressure measurement system employs a custom-designed 16x16 matrix force sensor. Experimental tests involving weight loads ranging from 400 g to 8 kg yielded sensor readings of 1000,940,730,600,500, and 400, respectively. These readings establish a clear correlation between the applied weight and the sensor's output. The article also details the design and implementation of an air distribution system aimed at effectively dispersing excessive pressure in areas indicated by the force sensor matrix. Experimental results displayed on the designed user interface demonstrate the system's capability to identify patient activities and postures while providing insights into the pressure distribution across different points. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Hydropower plant generator system(2018-06-08); ;Reangkittakarn, SaravutThis paper presents the hydropower plant generator system. The hydropower plant model which simulates the actual flow rates is investigated, and it is realized as the Simulink model. The parameters of the permanent magnet synchronous generator are measured and the generator torque characteristic using the obtained parameters is calculated. The hydropower plant torque characteristic and the range of the flow rate in which the hydropower plant generator system can operate is clarified by comparing with hydropower plant Pelton type and hydropower plant Standard type. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Interconnection Inverter Control System of PMSG Wind Power Generation(2017-01-01) ;Reangkittakarn, SaravutThis paper presents the experimental results of the operation of the system interconnection inverter control side for wind power generation system (WPGS) using PMSG. The diode bridge rectifier converter methods are utilized as converters for the WPGS. The experimental results are obtained by the test bench using the wind turbine emulator. The wind turbine emulator are reproduced the behaviours of windmill by the servo motor drives. The servo motor is calculated from windmill wing profile, the wind velocity and windmill rotational speed. The WPGS using PMSG employs the vector control system to control the torque and speed of PMSG and the active power and reactive power are controlled and generated power is sent to the grid-connected power generation while controlling the DC link voltage in the inverter side. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Low Wind Speed Wind Turbine Blade Design for Thailand(2020-01-01); ;Saengsuwan, NoppakoonRenewable energy is a reason why this study has been chosen. In this paper focused on an analysis of the characteristics of the wind when the wind turbine blade is encountered using a commercial fluid dynamics solver such as Fluent by selecting the impact angle of 5, -5, 10, 15, 20, -10, -15 and -20 degrees. Aerodynamic characteristics such as lift coefficient, drag coefficient, lift to drag ratio has been evaluated in this study. Fluent simulation results will be compared with the result of the milling airfoil tested in wind tunnel. Our goal is to a construction of wind turbine in low wind speed country like Thailand. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Bitmap picture to toolpaths converter for NC machineA simple method to create the toolpaths from bitmap picture of the workpiece for NC machine is described in this article. Halftone process is used to reproduce a continuous tone picture to binary tone picture for making a prototype picture. The obtained two dimensions picture with halftone process is employed to create the toolpaths of the sample workpiece. The workpiece dimension can be scaled to limitation of work table of NC machine by user with independent of picture resolution. The toolpaths are created as cutter location data (CL) that can be imported to postprocessor for NC machine. The proposed method is developed using visual C# programming language under window environment. Experimental implementation exhibits that the proposed bitmap picture to toolpath converter is efficient for the postprocessor to generate machine command for sculpture the workpiece from bitmap picture. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Integration of WirelessHART devices into mitsubishi PLC for plant monitoring(2018-06-08); ;Laosuwan, Issara; This paper presents a technique to integrate WirelessHART devices into Mitsubishi PLC for plant monitoring. The integration between WirelessHART devices and Mitsubishi PLC is based on OPC technologies. DASMTEthernet OPC and DASMBTCP OPC are used to communicate between WirelessHART devices, Mitsubishi PLC and SCADA software. Commercial WirelessHART devices and Mitsubishi PLC are used in experiment. The experimental testing with Pneumatic object moving plant shown the proposed system can monitor pressure and temperature of air compressor and stop the operation of Pneumatic object moving plant when the pressure and temperature of the air compressor are out of defined range. The experimental results illustrated here are useful people interested in the use of measuring multiple parameters for monitoring conditions of industrial plant controlled by Mitsubishi PLC including commercial PLC. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Modeling and simulation of wind power generation system using AC to AC converter(2016-01-01)This paper proposes the wind generator system using the matrix converter method and evaluates them to select as a commutation method of the matrix converter. A matrix converter is the power converter which can output arbitrary voltage and frequency from AC input. The commutation of matrix converters must be careful so that the short circuit of power supply and the open circuit of load do not occur. The commutation methods are classified roughly into the voltage commutation method and the current commutation method. The fundamental performance of the wind power generation system using matrix converters are verified by discussing the simulation and experimental results. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Application of Matrix Converter to Wind Power Generation System(2024-01-01) ;Juntham, C.This paper presents the application of a threephase matrix converter for wind power generation based on a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). The topology applied in the research is the 3 × 3 - matrix topology consisting of nine bi-directional switches. This paper focuses on the simulation of the proposed system using the MATLAB/ Simulink program to design the control algorithm for the PMSG. The algorithm and switching strategies acquired from the simulation will then be implemented on the real system using FPGA as the processor. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
