Item type:Publication, Realization of Lossy Parallel Inductance Simulator Using Single VDGA and a Grounded Capacitor(2022-01-01) ;Satansup, Jetsdaporn; ; An active lossy parallel type inductance simulator is proposed in this study. Only a single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA) and a grounded capacitor are used in the proposed design. The realized equivalent resistance (Req) and equivalent inductance (Leq) can be adjusted electronically via the transconductance gain of the VDGA device. The influence of the non-idealities of the VDGA on the realized simulator is examined in detail. The suggested active inductance simulator is used to realize the second order voltage mode highpass filter, which is simulated using the PSPICE simulation program to ensure that it performs as expected. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Dual-Mode Biquadratic Filter Employing Second-Generation Voltage Conveyors DM Biquadratic Filter Employing VCIIs(2024-02-21); ;Mongkolwai, Pratya; In this paper, a dual-mode biquadratic filter is suggested. The proposed filter employs two Second-Generation Voltage Conveyors (VCIIs) along with four resistors and two capacitors. The suggested filter can realize all five standard biquadratic filter functions such as lowpass (LP), bandpass (BP), highpass (HP), bandstop (BS), and allpass (AP) in both voltage-mode (VM) and current-mode (CM) without needing to modify its circuit structure. The quality factor (Q) and natural angular frequency (ωo) can be accurately and separately controlled through the passive component. It additionally offers the capability of providing the output voltage at the low-output impedance terminal in VM. The effects of the VCII non-idealities on the filter performance have been analyzed in detail. The proposed filter also offers low active and passive sensitivity features. Simulation results achieved with PSPICE software using TSMC CMOS 0.18 μm parameter have been validated and compared with the theoretical findings. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Design and Synthesis of Capacitance Multiplier Using LT1228s and a Grounded Capacitor(2026-01-01) ;Channumsin, Orapin; ;Likhitkitwoerakul, NutchaIn this study, the design and synthesis of a grounded capacitance multiplier is discussed. The proposed circuit consists of two commercially available integrated circuits (ICs) named LT1228, together with a single grounded capacitor as a passive element. The transconductance gain of LT1228 allows for electronic control of the simulated equivalent capacitance value. The LT1228 transconductance gain is easily adjusted through the external bias current, which has a wide adjustable range of 1 µA to 1 mA. No component matching is required for the designed simulator. A non-ideal analysis of the proposed circuit has been investigated in detail. The workability of the proposed circuit and its application example as a first-order lowpass filter has been confirmed with the theoretical findings through PSPICE software. The results indicate that the proposed simulator has excellent performance and matches the theory. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Grounded lossy parallel inductance simulation using voltage differencing buffered amplifier(2017-11-03); ; An actively lossy parallel RL-type inductance simulation employing voltage differencing buffered amplifier (VDBA) as an active component is presented. The proposed grounded inductance simulator is realized with a single VDBA, one grounded capacitor and one floating resistor. The equivalent inductance value of the simulator can be adjusted electronically through the transconductance parameter of the VDBA. The effect of the VDBA non-idealities on the realized simulator is analyzed in detail. As an application, active second-order current-mode highpass/bandpass filter is designed using the proposed variable lossy inductance simulator. The PSPICE simulation results using TSMC 0.25-μm CMOS technology demonstrate a close agreement with the theory, and also verify the usefulness of the proposed simulator and its filter design application. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Low-output-impedance electronically adjustable universal filter using voltage differencing buffered amplifiers(2019-03-16) ;Pimpol, Jirapun; In this study, a voltage-mode universal filter with three inputs and single output is presented. The circuit is resistor-less, and consists of only two VDBAs and two capacitors. The proposed TISO filter realizes all the five standard biquadratic filter functions at the low-impedance-output terminal without any component matching criterion. The effect of the VDBA non-idealities on the presented filter performance is also discussed in detail. Item type:Publication, SITO current-mode multifunction biquad using readily available IC LT1228s(2020-07-01); This paper focuses on the practical realization of current-mode multifunction biquadratic filter with single input and triple outputs (SITO), implementing from two readily available IC LT1228s. Only three grounded passive elements have been used for the realization. Highpass (HP), bandpass (BP) and lowpass (LP) biquadratic filtering functions are simultaneously generated without modifying the circuit structure. The tuning laws of the natural angular frequency (ωo) and the quality factor (Q) are non-interactive electronic control by changing the external bias current of LT1228s. The critical circuit sensitivities are considered to be low. Computer simulations with PSPICE program are also confirmed with theoretical ones and used to demonstrate the circuit performance. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Three-Input One-Output Voltage-Mode Biquadratic Filter Using Single VDBA(2020-03-01); ; In this article, a voltage-mode universal biquadratic filter with triple inputs and single output (TISO) is presented. The circuit consists of only one voltage differencing buffered amplifier (VDBA) along with two capacitors and one resistor. The proposed circuit can realize all five standard biquadratic filter functions namely, lowpass (LP), highpass (HP), bandpass (BP), bandstop (BS) and allpass (AP) without disturbing the circuit structure. The quality factor (Q) and the natural angular frequency (ωo) of the proposed circuit can be controlled by means of the transconductance gain of the VDBA. The circuit also provides low sensitivity performance. The potentiality of the proposed TISO biquadratic filter has been proved by PSPICE program based on TSMC 0.25-μm CMOS technology. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Floating Inductance Simulator with Electronic Tuning Property Using only Active Elements(2023-01-01); ;Mongkolwai, Pratya; ;Dumawipata, TeerasilapaThis paper discusses the active-only electronically tunable floating lossless inductance simulator, which uses a single fully balanced-voltage differencing buffered amplifier (FB-VDBA) and one operational amplifier (OA). For this implementation, only integrated circuit packages with no external passive components are utilized. The synthetic equivalent inductance value is electronically adjustable via the transconductance gain of the FB-VDBA. Non-idealities of the active element have produced their effects. Using PSPICE with TSMC 0.25-mum CMOS parameter and the LM741 type OA, the performance of the proposed circuit and its application as a second-order voltage-mode lowpass filter is demonstrated. Item type:Publication, Floating Impedance Simulator Realization(2020-06-01) ;Likhitkitwoerakul, Nutcha; This paper presents the floating impedance function simulator using flipped voltage follower-based differential voltage to current converter (DVTC) along with three passive elements. With the proper selection of the three passive components, the floating inductor, capacitor and frequency- dependent negative resistor (FDNR) can be realized. The realized equivalent impedance value of the proposed simulator can be controlled conveniently by changing the passive element values. A second-order bandstop filter and third-order lowpass filter are designed using the proposed simulators as application examples. To verify the workability of the proposed circuit, simulation results are confirmed through PSPICE program using 0.25-μm CMOS process parameters from TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, On the Realization of Grounded RL/RC Parallel Type Simulator(2021-04-01) ;Likhitkitwoerakul, Nutcha; An actively grounded RL/RC parallel type impedance simulator is presented. It contains two differential voltage to current converters (DVTCs) as an active element and three passive elements, and can simulate RL or RC parallel-type impedance by the proper selection of the external passive elements. The effect of the DVTC non-idealities on the realized simulator is also analyzed mathematically. The usability of the proposed circuit has been shown on the realizations of active second-order voltage mode highpass-and lowpass-filter. PSPICE simulation using TSMC 0.25-m CMOS technology is performed to demonstrate the behavior of the proposed simulator circuit and its filter applications.
