Item type:Publication, Voltage-mode universal filter with one input and five outputs using DDCCTAs and all-grounded passive components(2012-08-01) ;Channumsin, Orapin; This paper presents a versatile voltage-mode universal active filter with one input and five output terminals. The proposed circuit is based on using the recently reported active building block, namely differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifier (DDCCTA). It employs two DDCCTAs as active elements together with two resistors and two capacitors as passive elements, which are all grounded. The circuit simultaneously realizes all the five standard biquadratic filter functions; i.e.; lowpass (LP), bandpass (BP), highpass (HP), bandstop (BS) and allpass (AP), without changing circuit topology. The proposed circuit also has the advantage of high-input impedance terminal, and exhibits electronic tunability of its important parameters through the bias current of the DDCCTA as well as low sensitivity performance. PSPICE simulations using 0.5 μm MIETEC CMOS process are used to validate the theoretical predictions. © 2011 Elsevier Ltd. Item type:Publication, CCCII-based high-output impedance current-mode universal filter employing only grounded capacitors(2006-12-01) ;Jangsamsi, Niwat; A current-controlled current-mode universal filter with three inputs and one output using only three current-controlled current conyevors (CCCIIs) and two grounded capacitors is described. The proposed filter provides lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current outputs at a high impedance terminal, which enable easy cascadability. The filter also offers an independent electronic control of the natural frequency ω<inf>0</inf> and the parameter ω<inf>0</inf>Q through adjusting the bias current of the CCCII. No critical matching condition is required for realizing all the filter responses, and all the incremental parameter sensitivities are low. The performances of the proposed circuit are simulated with PSPICE to confirm the presented theory. © 2006 ICASE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Electronically tunable current-mode universal filter using VDTAs and grounded capacitors(2013-01-01) ;Satansup, Jetsdaporn; In this paper, an electronically tunable current-mode universal filter with three inputs and one output employing two voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA) and two grounded capacitors is proposed. The presented circuit can configure to realize all the five standard biquadratic filter functions; lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass without changing the circuit configuration and needing an external passive resistor. The proposed filter is capable of providing an independent current-control of the natural angular frequency (ωo) and quality factor (Q) through the VDTA's transconductance and low incremental active and passive sensitivities. The performance of the proposed filter is tested using PSPICE simulation program, and the results agree well with the theoretical analysis. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Electronically tunable single-input five-output voltage-mode universal filter using VDTAs and grounded passive elements(2013-06-01) ;Satansup, Jetsdaporn; This paper presents a possible usage of the voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA) for the design of an electronically tunable single-input five-output voltage-mode universal filter. The presented filter is constructed using two VDTAs, two capacitors and two resistors that are all grounded. The circuit simultaneously realizes lowpass (LP), bandpass (BP), highpass (HP), bandstop (BS) and allpass (AP) filtering responses, without changing the circuit topology. The circuit is capable of providing an independent electronic control of the natural angular frequency (ω <inf>0</inf>) and the quality factor (Q) through the transconductance gains of the VDTAs. By simply adjusting the transconductance ratio, a high-Q filter can also be obtained. Because of the high-input impedance of the circuit, it is advantageous for cascade connection. To support the theoretical analysis, the properties of the designed filter have been verified by PSPICE simulation results. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Current-mode universal biquad with orthogonal ωo-Q tuning using OTAs(2007-12-01) ;Mongkolwai, Pratya; A two-input two-output (TITO) current-mode universal biquad using only four dual-output operational transconductance amplifier (DO-OTAs) and two grounded capacitors is described. By appropriately connecting the input and output terminals, the proposed circuit can provide lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current responses. The filter also offers an independent electronic control of the natural frequency (ω<inf>o</inf>) and the quality factor (Q) through the transconductance gain (g<inf>m</inf>) of the DO-OTAs. No critical matching conditions are imposed for realizing all the filter responses, and all the incremental parameter sensitivities are low. ©2007 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Practical realization of electronically adjustable universal filter using commercially available IC-based VDBA(2021-01-01); ; This paper describes the practical realization of electronically adjustable voltage-mode universal filter with three inputs and single output (TISO) using the commercially available integrated circuit (IC)-based voltage differencing buffered amplifiers (VDBAs). The realization is resistor-less and contains only two VDBAs and two capacitors. The described filter structure can realize all the five standard biquadratic filter functions from the same configuration without needing any component matching criterions. It also exhibits low-output impedance, which enables for easy cascading in voltage-mode operation. Owing to practical VDBA realization, the filter circuit can be easily made electronically tunable with orthogonal ω<inf>o</inf>-Q tuning. The effects of the VDBA non-idealities on the filter performance have been analyzed in detail. To prove the theoretical finding, the performance of the studied circuit was also experimentally measured using the operational transconductance amplifier CA3080 and the operational amplifier LF356 ICs. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Resistorless realization of electronically tunable voltage-mode SIFO-type universal filter(2013-01-01); ;Channumsin, OrapinIn this work, an electronically tunable universal voltage-mode biquadratic filter with single input and five outputs is introduced. The proposed filter structure only employs three differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifiers (DDCCTAs) and two grounded capacitors without needing any external passive resistor. All the five standard biquadratic filter functions; lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass, can be realized simultaneously without imposing component choice and changing circuit configuration. In addition, the circuit also features the high-input impedance terminal, and provides an orthogonal electronic control of its natural angular frequency (ω<inf>o</inf>) and quality factor (Q) by adjusting only bias currents of the DDCCTAs for the fixed values of capacitors. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
