Item type:Publication, A simple CMOS-based algorithmic ADC(2007-12-01) ;Kaewpoonsuk, Anucha; ; This paper presents a one-bit cell of reverse Gray-code algorithmic analog-to-digital converter. The proposed converter comprises of full-wave rectifier, current mirrors, and current comparator. The realization method is simple, small in size, and suitable for integrated circuit form. The design strategy is based on the MOS biased at the edge of conduction to provide a low accumulated error and a low distortion in the transfer characteristic. An N-bit resolution can be achieved by cascading of the N proposed one-bit cells. PSPICE simulation results supporting the characteristics of proposed circuit are agreed with the expected values. © ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A simple amplitude detector-based demodulator for resolver converters(2010-12-01) ;Kaewpoonsuk, Anucha ;Katman, Ratchanoo ;Kamsri, Thawatchai; This paper presents a simple method based on sinusoidal-amplitude detector for realizing the resolver-signal demodulator. The proposed demodulator consists of two full-wave rectifiers, two ±unity-gain amplifiers, and two sinusoidal-amplitude detectors with control switches. Two output voltages are proportional to sine and cosine envelopes of resolver-shaft angle without low-pass filter. Experimental results demonstrating characteristic of the proposed circuit are included. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Electronically adjustable phase shifter using OTAs(2010-12-01); ; First-order phase shifter using operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) as active elements is presented in this paper. The corner frequency of the proposed phase shifter can be adjusted by electronic means. The purpose of this paper is emphasized on simple configuration and low cost. The phase response between input and output signals against the operating frequency is varied from 180 to 0 degrees of phase lead. The principle of the proposed circuit is confirmed by simulation and experimental results. To verify the proposed circuit performance, the sinusoidal oscillator is provided for circuit application. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Wireless Carbon Monoxide Level Control and Monitoring SystemThis paper proposes an online carbon monoxide control and monitoring system. The proposed system comprises an MQ-7 CO gas sensor module, a DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensor module, an ESP8266 module, and a Relay Module. The ThingSpeak platform is used to create HMI for online monitoring of CO level, temperature, humidity, and status of the ventilation fan. This proposed system can measure CO and monitor all parameters of measurement data, alert users when CO values exceed the set value. In addition, the measured CO values are used to control the ventilation system operation (ON or OFF) to maintain the CO at a non-harmful level. The experiment testing and results with three conditions show that the proposed system can measure and monitor CO level, temperature, and humidity online with satisfying values. The ventilation fan can operate with function as a design procedure and maintain CO at a non-harmful level. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A low-voltage algorithmic ADC based on gray coding(2004-11-17) ;Arayawat, Somjai ;Chaikla, Amphawan; ;Julsereewong, PrasitTrisuwannawat, ThanitThis paper presents an algorithmic analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which is based on gray coding. The realization method makes use of the De Morgan's law-based two-input minimum circuit, which performs a low-distortion in the transfer characteristic. The proposed ADC with the low supply voltage is simple, small in size and suitable for implementing a high-resolution ADC. The performances of the proposed circuit were studied using the PSPICE analog simulation program. The simulation results verified the circuit performances are agreed with the expected values. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, An amplitude detector for variable frequency sinusoidal signals(2006-12-01) ;Raksachat, Pariwat ;Chaikla, Amphawan ;Kaewpoonsuk, Anucha; Julsereewong, PrasitIn this paper, a JK-flip-flop-based logic circuit is described. Using two output signals of this designed logic circuit to control a buffered peak detector followed by a simple sample-and-hold circuit in sequential operation, a sinusoidal amplitude detector is proposed. The proposed detector allows the frequency of input signals to be varied over a wide range. Experimental results verifying the performances of the proposed circuit are in close agreement with the expected values. © 2006 ICASE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Power monitoring circuit using operational amplifiers(2010-12-01); ; ;Julsereewong, PrasitIn this paper presents a power monitoring circuit for battery energy management system using operational amplifiers. The proposed scheme consists of a current sensing circuit with voltage output and an analog multiplier. The voltage output of current sensing circuit is directly proportional to load current. The multiplying result of the load current in the form of voltage signal and the load voltage becomes the load power in term of output voltage of analog multiplier. The configuration of the proposed power monitoring circuit is simple and economically attractive. Simulation and experimental results confirming the performance of the proposed circuit are agreed with the expected values. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simple LVDT signal to DC converter(2017-02-18); ; A simple technique to produce a linear signal from a displacement transducer, linear variable differential transformer (LVDT), is introduced in this paper. The two-quadrant divider is used to precede the ratio of a different and sum of the two winding signals from the LVDT instead of a four-quadrant divider of a recent approach. The two- quadrant divider is obtained by an operational transcondutance amplifier (OTA) in the form of a voltage-tocurrent converter. The signal from the divider is held by the sample and hold circuit (SHC) controlled by the peak-amplitude finder. As a result, the held signal is achieved without using a low-pass filter. The temperature effect of both OTA and LVDT are compensated. The merit of the proposed technique is that the circuit requires without the low-pass filter. Therefore, the fast response is obtained. The performance of the proposed scheme is confirmed by the experimental results using commercial devices. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
